Approximately 1 hour and 20 minutes by car from Naha Airport. This accommodation is located on Sesoko Island, north of Motobu Peninsula in the northern part of Okinawa’s main island. There is a main building and an annex, and this annex has a total of 4 rooms with terraces and open-air baths, ranging from 58 to 153 square meters in size with a spacious natural taste.

Point 1: How can I get to “Sesoko Sansui Annex”?

Sesoko Sansui Annex, opened in 2016, is located in the southern part of Sesoko Island, which lies at the end of Motobu Peninsula in the northern part of Okinawa’s main island.

Even though it is an island, it is connected to Motobu Peninsula by a bridge, so it is accessible by car. This accommodation is located near the Sesoko Ohashi Bridge, and Anti-hama Beach, famous for its high transparency, is just a short drive away.

Accessㇲ from the direction of Naha Airport, take Route 58 north, cross Motobu Peninsula, and cross the Sesoko Ohashi Bridge.

The Motobu Peninsula is on the other side of the island, but because it is located on the seashore, you will be able to witness a magnificent view of the ocean.

Point 2: What are the rooms like in “Sesoko Sansui Annex”?

Sesoko Sansui Annex” has four rooms in three types: Ai-no-Ma, Beni-no-Ma, and Hana-no-Ma.

The exterior is traditional Okinawan architecture, but the interior is a relaxed Japanese modern style with a “modern Japanese” feel. Each room has a bed and tatami mats, and it is nice to be able to take off your shoes and relax.

The Ai-no-Ma room is 41m2 + 31m2 with a terrace and an open-air bath.

The Beni-no-Ma room is 41 square meters in size, but has a 17 square meter terrace.

And the Hana-no-Ma has a room size of 90 m2 and a terrace and open-air bath of 63 m2.

The capacity of Ai-no-Ma and Beni-no-Ma is 3 persons and Hana-no-Ma is 5 persons. Ai-no-Ma and Beni-no-Ma have one room each, and only Hana-no-Ma has two rooms.

Hana-no-Ma and other rooms are a generous 90 square meters in size, making them perfect for travelers with babies or three generations! Everyone from children to the elderly can relax and enjoy the view of the ocean outside the window.

In fact, “Sesoko Sansui” has a main building and an annex, both with rooms of similar taste, but the main building is larger at 79.38 m2 and has a shared infinity pool, although it does not have an open-air bath.

The annex is a 41m2 room with a 17-31m2 terrace and an open-air bath.

The furnishings look somewhat luxurious.

With such a spacious room, terrace, and open-air bath, it is possible to stay for as little as 15,000 yen per person through the official website! However, you may need to pay attention to the price, as it may vary considerably depending on the reservation site.

Point 3: Is there a restaurant at “Sesoko Sansui Annex”? What about nearby gourmet food?

Sesoko Sansui Annex” does not have a dining room, but it is equipped with kitchen appliances, tableware, and seasonings, so you can cook with ingredients you buy at the supermarket, or heat up take-out food and eat it.

There are two public stores on the island, but if you cross the bridge to the Motobu Peninsula, there are also three large supermarkets.

If you don’t want to cook on your trip, you will have to eat out, but there is an Asian restaurant called “49 Cafe” nearby that has a good reputation.

The dishes such as massaman curry, green curry, and gapao, prepared by a female chef who used to live in Thailand, are exquisite! Curry eaten on the terrace with a view of the ocean is even more delicious!
