About 13 minutes by car from Naha Airport. It is a new hotel located a little bit off the main street of Kokusai-dori. It is a mid-size hotel, but it is stylish anyway! The retro chic interior will make you feel at home. The breakfast is made with Okinawan ingredients, and there is a lounge that all guests can use!
Point 1: What are the rooms like at the Southwest Grand Hotel?
Southwest Grand Hotel” is an 88-room resort hotel located in the center of Kokusai-dori Avenue in Naha City, across the street from “Hotel Collective”.
There are five room types, and even the lowest type, the “Grand Twin,” is 45 square meters in size, with a retro-chic interior that will make you feel like you are at a resort. In addition, a minibar with Orion beer and soft drinks is free of charge! The room rate is only 22,000 yen without meals for two people during inexpensive periods, making it the best in terms of cost performance.
Other room types include “Corner King,” “Balcony Twin,” “Terrace Suite,” and “Penthouse Suite.
The “Penthouse Suite” has an area of 200 square meters including the terrace. It is the only room with a panoramic view of the Naha cityscape and direct access to the pool and sauna.
The hotel is fully equipped with an indoor pool, outdoor Jacuzzi, sauna, lounge for all guests, laundry, and gym!
Point 2: “Southwest Grand Hotel” has a lounge that all guests can use!
You’ve always dreamed of a lounge that you can use when you stay in a nice hotel room, haven’t you?
Here at the Southwest Grand Hotel, there is a lounge that all guests can use!
The “Private Lounge” on the 2nd floor has a coffee machine, Blue Seal ice cream, and light snacks, and can be used at any time from 6:00 am to 10:00 pm.
The interior design is like an adult space, and to my surprise, there is even a jukebox in the lounge!
It may not be the same as a club floor lounge that costs tens of thousands of yen, but it is stylish and thoughtful that everyone can use it!
Point 3: Pay attention to the special breakfast at the “Southwest Grand Hotel”!
Southwest Grand Hotel offers breakfast at “The Sailor’s Club” on the 11th floor.
Breakfast is a bit expensive at 4,000 yen for adults, but you will be surprised at what it has to offer!
The dishes laid out in the American retro chic space are wonderfully unique, including fruits, granola, salads, breads, frilly cheese, handmade seafood bowls, and a self-serve “kachuyu” corner where you can blend various types of miso.
There are also bagels and a variety of Okinawan dishes that you will never be able to get enough of!
The prices are a bit high, but you would be missing out if you don’t try them.
