About 14 minutes by car from Naha Airport. This Okinawa soba restaurant opened in April 2023 in Tsuboya, Naha City, about a 10-minute walk from Kokusai-dori Avenue, with a rich, thick soup. The location of this restaurant is in an area that can be said to be a fierce battleground for Okinawa soba, including the up-and-coming Okinawa soba restaurant EIBUN. What will happen next?
Point 1: What is the location of “Okinawa Pork Soba”?
Okinawa Pork Soba” is located in Tsuboya, Naha City, only 14 minutes by car from Naha Airport.
It is located a little far from Naha Kokusai-dori (International Street), about 10 minutes on foot.
As you may have guessed from the name of the place, Tsuboya is where Naha’s “Yachimun Street” is located,
At the entrance of the town, there stands a large ceramic Shisa (Uf Shisa).

(This is the “Ufu Shisa,” a giant shisa.)

(About 100 meters away from “Okinawa Pork Soba” is the hottest Okinawa soba restaurant “EIBUN”!)
In fact, EIBUN, which has been introduced in magazines, etc., and whose cup noodles are now on sale in convenience stores, and its second store are also located nearby, making this area a battleground for Okinawan soba restaurants that people don’t know about.
It is easy to get lost in this area, with several shopping streets intertwined, so it is best to use this large seasar as a landmark when walking through the area.

(The shisa is said to be handmade. It is unique because it holds a bowl of soba (buckwheat)!

(The restaurant has a counter and about four tables.)

(There was also a counter outside, so we decided to have it here!)
Point 2: What is the “Okinawa Pork Soba” menu like?
There are three main types of “Okinawa Pork Soba” on the menu. There are three main types of “Okinawa Pork Soba” menu: “Dark Kokkoku,” “Tanrei,” and “Wagyu Tail,” each of which comes in a variety of varieties.
For example, the “Dark Kokkoku” menu includes the simple, pork-free “Dark Kokkoku Kakesoba” (900 yen including tax), “Dark Kokkoku Kusoki Soba” (1,200 yen including tax), “Dark Kokkoku Rafty Soba” (1,280 yen including tax), in which the rafts are roasted over charcoal, and “Dark Kokkoku The “Dark Kokurafute Soba with Shrimp” (1,400 yen), “Dark Kokurafute Soba with Meat Wontons” (1,200 yen), and “Dark Kokurafute Soba with Shoki Vegetables” (1,200 yen), etc.
With so many varieties of “konkoku koku” alone, it is assumed that similar menu items are available for “tanrei” and “wagyu tail” as well.

(I had the mini dark rich soba (680 yen) and cartilage soki (300 yen)!
The first system is to order from a machine, and I’m glad to know that you can use any major code payment system, including traffic cards, PayPay, Rakuten Pay, LINE Pay, iD, Quick Pay, etc.
The system is also very convenient for customers who are interested in ordering by major credit cards. The taste is elegant, without the worry that it might be smelly or smelly. The taste can be changed by adding homemade pickled green chili peppers, which gives the dish a different taste.
The noodles are fresh and thick, and the more you chew them, the more flavorful they become. The cartilage soki on a small plate is also unbelievably delicious!
The “dark richness” was not as thick as I expected, and although it was rich, it was refreshing. As a flavor advice, if you are looking for a standard Okinawa soba like “the Okinawa soba,” you should eat the “light” version.
Point 3: “Okinawa Pork Soba” side menu is not to be underestimated!
Okinawa Pork Soba offers a variety of side dishes to go with the Okinawa soba.
Examples include “Shimarakkyo” (400 yen), umi budou (450 yen), mimigar ponzu vinegar, goya stamina pickles, mozuku vinegar (both 300 yen), and “pickled green chili pepper” which is refreshingly spicy and a good alternative to choregoose.
There are also jushi and salad, which are usually served as a set with Okinawa soba.
Jyu-shih is garlic-flavored with chicken skin, and is also an evolution of the original. The crunchy chicken skin was a very nice accent!
It is also nice to know that toppings such as “cartilage soki” (300 yen), “raftae” (380 yen), “shrimp wontons” (250 yen), “meat wontons” (200 yen), boiled egg (130 yen), kikurage and spinach (both 100 yen) can be ordered as an individual item!
Okinawa Pork Soba” is a restaurant I would like to visit every day.

(Staff members who were shy but willing to be photographed. Thank you for teaching me everything you know!)
The staff was also friendly and did not mind if we said we would eat at the counter outside, and even came to add water. They also taught us a lot about Okinawan soba.
