About 12 minutes by car from Naha Airport. This ramen restaurant is located in Tomari, Naha City. A ramen restaurant is very rare in Okinawa, where Okinawa soba is very strong! But there are a certain number of ramen fans. The pork bone broth is excellent! There are also Okinawan-style gyoza (dumplings) such as Agu pork gyoza!

Point 1: The view along the canal is great! What is the location of “Ryukiya Tomari Branch, the noodle and rice restaurant in town”?

Ryukeya Tomari Branch” is located in Tomari, Naha City, about 12 minutes by car from Naha Airport. It is near the port and is actually a place where many gourmet restaurants gather.

It is also a place with a nice view along the canal that flows into Tomari Port.

Point 2: What kind of tonkotsu ramen is the specialty of “Ryu-ke Tomari Store, the town’s noodle restaurant”?

The most recommended menu item at “Ryu-ke Tomari” is the Tonkotsu Ramen. You can choose between thin or thick noodles for 680 yen in this day and age.

There are many toppings, such as boiled egg, pork roe, bean sprouts, and green onions.

The broth is lighter than expected, and it is very refreshing.

Even though it is tonkotsu (pork bone broth), it is not as thick as that of Kyushu, and is made in a way that makes it easy to eat. Some people even prefer it to the authentic tonkotsu ramen from Hakata!

It is light but has a great richness and concentrated flavor. It is easy to see why tonkotsu ramen is the most popular type of ramen.

Point 3: What else is on the menu at Ryuke Tomari?

Of course, there are other menu items at Ryukiya Tomari Branch.

The ramen menu includes spicy miso ramen, black kogashi ramen, shrimp salt ramen, soy sauce ramen, and Ryu Tsukemen. The noodles are of course homemade.

You can choose from thick or thin noodles.

The soup is not too salty, but rich and refreshing with a nice aroma! The flavor is concentrated in the soup.

The dumplings include Agu pork dumplings and cheese dumplings, which are rather small but have a good balance of crispy skin and juicy filling, and the juices overflow when you bite into them.

The rest of the menu is very a la carte, even though it is a ramen restaurant, and includes izakaya-like dishes such as crab cream croquettes with snow crab, steak, grilled yam cheese, my sickly fried chicken wings, tempura of summer vegetables and fish, and sashimi of tuna.

The price is great, even the steak is only 980 yen!

It has been eight years since the restaurant opened. We hear that there are not only local regulars but also tourists who make a pilgrimage every time they come to Okinawa. You can tell that this restaurant is loved by the locals.

In addition, they have a main store on Kokusai-dori!
