About 56 minutes by car from Naha Airport. The hotel is located in Uruma City in the central part of the Okinawa main island. Ansa Okinawa Resort” is located inland, about an hour’s drive from Naha Airport.
Even though it is called Uruma City, it is close to Yomitan Village, and it takes only 20 minutes by car to Yachimun-no-sato. It is also a 4-minute drive to “Biosu no Oka” and a 7-minute drive to CAVE OKINAWA limestone caves.
Uruma City, where the underwater road is located, may remind you of a remote area, but since it is located inland, access to Yomitan Village and Onna Village is also easy.
However, there is no shuttle bus service, and without a car such as a rental car, it will take about 2.5 hours to get there by limousine bus airport line, and local bus, so access is not so easy.
Point 2: There are many categories! What are the rooms like at “Ansa Okinawa Resort”?
Ansa Okinawa Resort” has six categories of rooms.
There are Superior rooms on the 2nd and 3rd floors, Deluxe rooms on the 4th and 5th floors, Family rooms on the top floor, Executive rooms, Family Executive rooms, and Ansa rooms.
The Superior rooms have single beds that are 120 cm wide and 23.5 square meters in size, and all amenities are provided, including slippers, towels, and even bathrobes.
Suites range in size from 47 square meters for the Family Suite to 97 square meters for the Ansa Suite.
The family-type suites also have a tatami room, which is convenient for those with small children.
The Ansa Suite is priced at an unbelievable 130,000 yen, but the Superior 47m2 Family Suite is priced at 17,000 yen, the Deluxe at 14,000 yen, and the Superior at 12,000 yen!
If the new hotel has this much space and at this price, it will be a candidate for your stay.
Point 3: Various things are just right! What kind of service does “Ansa Okinawa Resort” provide?
Ansa Okinawa Resort” is full of various services.
For example, the karaoke room in the photo is spacious and luxurious, although there is a charge of 1,100 yen for 90 minutes!
There is a large bath and sauna named “Aman” (meaning “peace” in Sanskrit), which is free of charge for guests.
In addition, it is equipped with a fairly full-fledged fitness gym.
We are also interested in the Ryukyu & Asian collaboration breakfast buffet that energizes your body, offered at 2,200 yen, and the lunch buffet at 2,750 yen. In the evening, the restaurant is open for bowls of rice topped with Yanbaru Jidori chicken and Agu pork! The seasonal vegetable tempura rice bowl comes with soft-shell shrimp that you can crunch from the head.
We appreciate the restaurant’s emphasis on local production for local consumption, and each set of fresh local rice bowls is reasonably priced at 1,650 yen!
There is no over-the-top service, but I like the feeling that it is affordable and has just what you need. Please try staying here.
