It takes only 13 minutes by car from Naha Airport and 30 minutes by Yui Rail to get to this cosmopolitan condominium. It is stylish and well-equipped! And it is reasonably priced, so you can easily stay here!
Point 1: Where is “Condominio Makishi Annesso” located?
Condominio Makishi Annesso is located in Makishi, Naha City, 13 minutes from the airport by car, 30 minutes by Yureru, 2 minutes walk from Makishi Station, and 10 seconds from Kokusai Dori.
The area is lined with houses and small stores, and is a bit far from Kokusai-dori, so you can avoid the hustle and bustle of the city. Makishi Park is also nearby.
The Makishi bus stop (for Aja and Kojima) is also nearby, making it convenient for bus travelers.
The exterior of the building looks like a small apartment building, with an impressive wall object that looks like a shisha, the mouth of truth!
At the entrance, several awards received from Booking.com and other websites are displayed, which makes one’s expectations for the hotel grow.
Point 2: Outstandingly stylish! What is the room like at “Condominio Makishi Annesso”?
Condominio Makishi Annesso has a total of 21 rooms. There are two types of rooms, one with a Scandinavian style and the other with an industrial style.
One is a twin room (22㎡) with nice Scandinavian wallpaper. It is decorated in a studio style with concrete flooring, and the bed and furniture furnishings are tasteful.
The other is a penthouse twin bedroom (22㎡). As the name suggests, it has a super spacious rooftop terrace as large as the living room and offers a view of the city of Naha and a sense of openness. Unfortunately, you cannot see the ocean as it is a bit far away.
In addition to two single beds, the price includes a bench bed, a sofa, and two futon sets, so the room can accommodate up to four people.
Like the twin rooms, the interiors have an industrial studio style with a concrete floor. The large couches and flat-screen TVs make for a comfortable stay.
Both types of rooms also have a washer/dryer, kitchen, and air purifier for your comfort. However, there is a 1,000 yen charge for dishes and rice cooker.
Amenities such as toothbrushes and detergents are available on the first floor, and there is also free coffee on the first floor.
For breakfast, you can have a set of rice balls and arbor soup delivered from the main restaurant “Pork and Egg Onigiri” for 500 yen, which is convenient when you don’t want to go out to eat!
Prices seem to vary considerably depending on the reservation site, and even a penthouse twin-bed room can be reserved for less than 10,000 yen for two people at the cheapest time, so it seems quite cozy.
Check-in is not done by a PIN system, but at the main building (Condominio Maxi) across Kokusai Dori.
Point 3: Dining Guide near “Condominio Makishi Annesso
Condominio Makishi Annesso is located in Makishi, Naha City, just a 10-second walk from Kokusai Street.
Therefore, you will find many restaurants and eateries lining the street, but if you are not familiar with Naha, you may not know where to go.
We recommend the “Kokusai-dori Yatai-mura” (International Street Stall Village), a 2-minute walk away. It is like a food court, with 21 stalls offering mainly Okinawan cuisine. You can also try Naha’s specialty, the “Senbero Experience,” where you can get tongue-tied for 1,000 yen!
There is also a restaurant next to the condominium called “Japanese Dining Agarikana,” which serves not only Okinawan cuisine such as Agu pork Shabu-Shabu but also Japanese food such as chura sushi. The sushi, which uses especially fresh ingredients, has a reputation for being delicious, so be sure to try it.
