Approximately 49 minutes by car from Naha Airport. This French toast specialty restaurant opened in March 2024 in Awase, Okinawa City, central Okinawa Island. It is characterized by its colorful French toast topped with a dazzling array of toppings such as red sweet potato paste and strawberries! The colorful French toast topped with red sweet potato paste, strawberries, and other toppings is a distinctive feature of this restaurant.

Point 1: I want to go all the way! What is the location of Creative French Toast in Okinawa?

Creative French Toast in Okinawa” is located along the Awase tideland embankment in Okinawa City, central Okinawa Island.

It is an area where not many tourists go, and where the local people’s sphere of life is firmly entrenched.

It is about a 49-minute drive from Naha Airport. You have to go via National Route 330 and Okinawa Expressway to Kitanakagusuku, and then via Prefectural Routes 87 and 227, which may be a little confusing even for those who have been to Okinawa many times, because it is on the Pacific Ocean side, which is unfamiliar most people.

By bus, it is even more difficult. From the domestic terminal of Naha Airport, take Ryukyu Bus No. 117 to Nakagusuku for the International Passenger Terminal (for Naha Bus Terminal), walk for 10 minutes, take Okinawa Bus No. 61 for Yakeina Bus Terminal, get off at “Takahara Minami”, and walk 22 minutes to arrive at the destination.

The accessibility hurdle is a bit high because of the 22-minute walk in addition to the transfer.

The restaurant, which just opened in March this year, has a nice simple, retro-modern interior surrounded by ornamental plants!

Since it is by the sea, you will be able to relax while eating delicious French toast.

Point 2: The toppings are amazing! Introducing the single-item menu at Creative French Toast in Okinawa!

Creative French Toast in Okinawa offers 11 different types of French toast, each as thick as 3 cm.

The newest item on the menu is the “Rare Cheesecake French Toast” (1,090 yen), which was just released in May. It has a rich cheese flavor and can be eaten in two ways: hot and melty or chilled and moist.

Other French toast selections include Butter (700 yen), Crème Brulee (950 yen), Red Potato Mont Blanc (990 yen), Melted Cheese (990 yen), Un Butter (850 yen), Tiramisu (990 yen), Baked Banana (880 yen), Nut Chocolate (990 yen), Butter and Caramel Nuts (950 yen), and Salami Pepper Basil (990 yen).

The most popular items are the red sweet potato Mont Blanc and the baked banana, which look great when photographed, but they all have their unique tastes.

Point 3: A set menu is recommended! Introducing the set menu at Creative French Toast in Okinawa!

Creative French Toast in Okinawa offers a “Volume Lunch” (1,590 yen) and “Light Lunch” (1,090 yen) on weekdays only, which includes French toast and side dishes. The “Soup Lunch” is also available on Saturdays.

The “Volume Lunch,” which is particularly hearty, comes with a butter French toast, colorful salad, long sausage, potatoes, soup, whimsical cocotte & glass, and a choice of beverage from the regular menu.

This is especially good for those who want to eat with gusto, but it is nice to have a light lunch as well as a hearty one!

We also like the flexibility of being able to change the French toast for lunch for 165-319 yen extra, change the drink for light lunch for an additional 100 yen, or add a drink for soup lunch for 200 yen off.

For 100 to 150 yen, you can add toppings such as Kinako (soybean flour), honey, or maple to make it even tastier.

We are particular about our ingredients, using local products such as bread from Koza Bakery, Hakko Eggs, and EM Tamaki Ranch milk, so the toppings will make it even more delicious.
