Point 1: Access is not easy… What is the location of “IMAGINE OKINAWA”?
IMAGINE OKINAWA” is a condominium and glamping facility located in Nakijin Village in the northern part of Okinawa’s main island.
It takes about 1.5 hours by car from Naha Airport.
By bus, take the Okinawa Airport Shuttle OAS/RSL-RP, get off at Churaumi Aquarium, then take the Ryukyu Bus No. 65, a 2-minute walk from the Churaumi Aquarium, get off at Moroshi, and walk 13 minutes.
It is not easy to get there because it takes a long time and you have to change buses, but you will feel a sense of accomplishment when you get there.
The exterior of “IMAGINE OKINAWA” has a stylish look that would please fashionable outdoor enthusiasts. The interior is also moderately trendy, with a natural, resort-like feel.
The fact that only two couples per day can stay here gives it a private feel!
There is no pool, but there is a beach a 3-minute walk away, and some rooms have a jacuzzi.
Churaumi Aquarium and other tourist facilities are also nearby, so you can fully enjoy yourself before and after check-in and check-out.
Point 2: There are also rooms with a jacuzzi and camping! Introduction of “IMAGINE OKINAWA” room types!
IMAGINE OKINAWA” has two types of rooms.
One is “Padma” and the other is “Cardiff”.
The living room and bedroom are connected, and the kitchen is spacious with a counter type. There is a terrace in the garden with a table and chairs, and you can rent a BBQ stove for BBQ (you need to bring your food).
Both apartments are 44.51 square meters in size. Both are 44.51 square meters in size and have symmetrical layouts, but only “Padma” has a jacuzzi. The rates are the same, so if you want a Jacuzzi, you should apply as soon as possible.
With all these facilities, the price is 24,000 yen for two persons during the low season.
Glamping tents are also available in limited numbers.
This is not an air-conditioned dome-type tent, but a large tent, so it may be a bit tough in the summer.
The price is 20,000 yen for up to 4 people. (Including parking, showers, facility usage fee, and garbage disposal fee.) For those with five or more people, an additional 1,000 yen per elementary school student is charged.
Two bench chairs for two, a tarp, table, sleeping bag, air double bed, cooler box, and lantern are included in the plan, but BBQ equipment and charcoal are optional, so you should expect to spend about 10,000 yen extra.
Camping is the best way to experience the star-filled night sky and the cool air at dawn. It will be a memorable trip for your children as well.
Also, breakfast is available for an optional 1,000 yen for both lodging and camping. Since there are not many restaurants around, it is nice to have this kind of service.
Point 3: What are the amenities and optional equipment for “IMAGINE OKINAWA”?
IMAGINE OKINAWA” is a condominium-type accommodation, and its main attraction is that you can BBQ on the large terrace, but BBQ equipment and fire pits are available for rent as an option.
Room amenities include air conditioning, washer/dryer, refrigerator, and other household appliances, as well as cooking utensils and tableware.
We use natural products such as shell ginger soap, shampoo, and conditioner.
Room clothes are not provided, so please bring your own.
They can also arrange marine activities such as SUP, clear kayaking, and snorkeling tours.
The SUP experience is a bit expensive at 6,000 yen per person for two or more people, but it is guided, so beginners can participate without worries!
