If it were not for the “Kiki” sign, one might mistake it for a café.
The first and second floors of the restaurant are occupied by stores, and from the second floor, you can look out over the ocean. There is also a tatami room, so you can bring your small children along! Free parking is also available.
It takes about 39 minutes from Naha Airport via Okinawa Expressway.
By bus, take Ryukyu Bus No. 152 to the last stop, “AEON MALL Lycam,” then take the “Gusuku Megurin” community bus (west route) from Lycam to the “Oshiro” stop. It is a 3-minute walk to the store.
The area has an American atmosphere, with many American-style cafes, steak stores, and other restaurants catering to the military, but is Kakunimanju accepted?
Point 2: Introduction of the manju and rice-based menu of “Kiki, the Village’s Kakuni Manju Kiki!
At Kiki, there are two main menus: one is related to Kakuni Manju and the other is related to Okinawa soba.
The most popular lunchtime menu item is the “Kakuni Manju Set Meal” (850 yen).
This set meal consists of Kakuni manju skin in a seiro, Kakuni stew, Chinese soup with chicken stock, and a few side dishes such as sauteed burdock root, and apricot pudding for dessert, which is quite filling.
The Manju skin and the stewed pork cubes are served separately, so you have to put them together by yourself.
The skin is homemade and served immediately after being steamed in a rice cooker, so it is fluffy, glutinous, and irresistibly delicious!
The rice dishes include the “Szechuan Bean Curd Set Meal” (950 yen), “Bean Curd Set Meal” (920 yen), and Tenshinhan (840 yen).
The “Bean Curd Set Meal” is a spicier version of the regular “Bean Curd Set Meal,” and the “Szechuan Bean Curd Set Meal” is also available.

Some people even claim that it is the best bean curd tofu they have ever tasted in Okinawa, so if you like bean curd tofu, you should try it. The reddish-black color and spiciness of the bean curd are almost deafening after one bite, but it also conveys a subtle flavor that is very addictive. It tastes similar to the authentic Szechuan-style bean curd.
Tenshindon is a dish of shiitake mushrooms, kikurage mushrooms, green onions, and crab cakes, all bound with an egg and topped with a thick sweet-and-sour sauce. The texture, which does not seem to be found anywhere else, is addictive.
In this day and age, the reasonable price of 840 yen for such a delicious dish is also very pleasing!
