This izakaya is located near Giho Station on the Yui Rail in the eastern part of Naha City, about 22 minutes by car from Naha Airport. The “Magoha Yasashi Lunch” is limited to 20 servings and is priced at 1,400 yen. It is a restaurant that is kind to both your wallet and your body.

Point 1: Shuri is close by! What is the location of Uechiya?

Uechiya” is located about 22 minutes by car from Naha Airport, in the eastern part of Naha City, a 3-minute walk from Yui Rail “Giho” station, which is close to Shuri direction.

There are two free parking lots, so you will not have to stop at coin-operated parking lots.

This “Uechiya” is open for lunch during the day and as an izakaya at night.

As a friendly local izakaya, it is well-loved by the local community, and more recently, by foreign tourists because of its exotic appearance from a foreigner’s point of view.

Point 2: Limited to 20 servings! What is the “Mago wa Yasashii Lunch” at Uechiya?

Lunch at Uechiya is served from 12:00 noon to 2:00 pm. There is only one type of lunch, “Mago wa Yasashii Lunch.

The price was originally 1,000 yen, then 1,200 yen, and now it is 1,400 yen.

But looking at the volume of food, even 1,400 yen seems cheap.

The menu is left up to the customer on the day of the meal. Mago is a nutritious and well-balanced meal with a decent amount of ingredients (beans, sesame, seaweed, vegetables, fish, shiitake mushrooms, and mushrooms) and a nice balance of colors.

In Okinawa, which tends to be somewhat biased toward American meals such as hamburgers and pizza, this is a great way to get in shape.

Point 3: “Uechi-ya” nighttime and izakaya “Yugure set” is the best!

Uechiya” is open as a “izakaya” (Japanese-style pub) at night.

The “Yugure Set” for 1,500 yen, which includes today’s recommendation, 3 healthy small potted dishes, and 3 drinks, is very popular!

It is nice to be able to have “senbero” at a regular izakaya!

Other than a few Okinawan dishes such as Goya Champuru, Fu Champuru, and Steak, the menu is not so different from that of a regular izakaya.

All dishes are hearty and freshly prepared! All a la carte dishes are priced at 500 yen, so you can enjoy them without any worries!

Sometimes the regulars sing “Grandpa’s Proud Orion Beer” by BIGIN and everyone gets excited.

It seems that foreign customers also come to this izakaya, and it is nice to be able to enjoy an international atmosphere!
