Hamabaru” is a guest house in Tomigusuku City in the southern part of Okinawa’s main island.
It takes about 14 minutes by car from Naha Airport via Route 331. It is located just off the national highway at “Onaga Iriguchi” and is very easy to find.
By bus, first, take the Yui Rail to “Akamine Station” and then take the Ryukyu Bus No. 89 from “Akamine Ekimae” located 1 minute on foot, and get off at “Onaga Iriguchi” to reach the inn in 3 minutes on foot.
The inn has a total of four guest rooms. There are Western-style rooms, Western-style rooms with beds, Japanese-style rooms, and rooms that can accommodate pets. The pet fee is 2,000 yen for up to one pet. Pet sheets and rollaways are provided. Pet meals are prepared separately.
There are only four rooms in total, and the inn is very homey with a couple taking care of you. Many guests return once they have stayed here because of the comfortable atmosphere.
The price is also reasonable at 5,000 yen per person (including tax) for a one-night stay with no meal, and 8,000 yen for a one-night stay with two meals!

Hamabaru” has a common space where you can have meals. The meals are hearty Okinawan cuisine prepared by the “owner” and are hearty and very tasty.
The sanshin (Okinawan guitar) in the common space can be played freely. The Sanshin (Okinawan three-stringed instrument) in the common space is free to play, and “O-O” will teach beginners how to play it.
You can kill two birds with one stone by getting a glimpse of an Okinawan family and experiencing a deep sanshin experience while staying at the shared house! It will be a very meaningful stay!

The Rocky and Hustler are available, and the Rocky costs 6,000 yen per day and the Hustler 4,000 yen, but you can get a 1,000 yen discount during your stay. If you can rent a car at the inn, you can shorten the time required to pick up and drop off the car!
