Point 1: Surprisingly easy to get to? How can I get to Kajinho?
Kajinho is a pizza specialty restaurant located in Motobu-cho, Kunigami-gun, in the northern part of Okinawa’s main island. The name of the restaurant, “Hanabito Ai” means “a place where you can meet people like flowers. The name of the restaurant is also beautiful.
Reservations are possible, and you can choose to sit inside, on the porch, or outside on the terrace.
Once inside the restaurant, welcomed by the Okinawan-style red-tiled old house with its seersucker, the spectacular view from the hillside will take your breath away.
It takes about 1 hour and 42 minutes from Naha Airport via Okinawa Expressway, National Route 58, and Prefectural Route 449. By bus, take the YKB888 Yanbaru Express Bus and get off at the Motobu High School Entrance stop. From there it is a 26-minute walk.
You can also take Ryukyu Bus No. 117, but it is a 32-minute walk from the Yanbaru Express Bus stop, and the fare is 2,780 yen, about 1,000 yen more than the Yanbaru Express Bus, so the Yanbaru Express Bus is recommended.
The Yanbaru Express Bus is located on high ground in the northwestern part of the Motobu Peninsula, 14 minutes by car from Churaumi Aquarium.
After all, it is easily accessible by a single bus. However, the trip takes about 2 hours and 38 minutes, so be sure to leave plenty of time for your trip!

The only food items on the menu at Kajinho are pizzas and salads.

There are medium and small pizzas, with the medium pizza serving 3.4 people for 2,700 yen and the small pizza serving 1.2 people for 1,300 yen. The small pizza is reasonably priced at 1,350 yen for 1.2 servings!
There is no choice of pizza ingredients, but one type. The basics change depending on the day’s purchases and availability.
As you can see, the pizza is excellent, with crispy outer ears and moist inside!
The zabuton-style seating and the spectacular view from the large glass windows are also wonderful, and make the pizza taste 30% better.
Also, the crispy salad with local vegetables is an amazing volume for 700 yen! It is simple and contains only about three kinds of vegetables, but it is so good that you could eat it without dressing.
Point 3: Introduction of the dessert and drink menu at Kajinho!
Kajinho has a menu item called “Mango Forest.
This is just a cut mango, but for 600 yen, you can enjoy a thick, rich-tasting mango.
Many people seem to order this along with the pizza.
Acerola juice (800 yen) is a fresh juice made from acerola grown in the headquarters. Many people order this as well. Fresh acerola juice is something you can rarely find outside of Okinawa.
Other juices, including mango and orange, are available at inexpensive prices of 400 yen and 350 yen, respectively! Alcoholic beverages are also available at reasonable prices, with Orion beer at 550 yen and Kirin Free non-alcoholic beer at 450 yen.
