It takes about 1 hour and 45 minutes by car from Naha Airport. Located at the tip of Motobu Peninsula in the northern part of Okinawa’s main island, this café has a spectacular view like an Asian resort. The Okinawa Churaumi Aquarium is only a 6-minute drive away, and the Fukugi trees are right next to the cafe, so there are many relaxing spots! It may be far away, but it is a place you want to visit.

Point 1: Far away, but I want to go there! What is the location of Chahayablan?

Chahayaburan is a café located at the tip of Motobu Peninsula in the northern part of Okinawa’s main island, where you can enjoy a spectacular view.

The famous Churaumi Aquarium in northern Okinawa is only a 6-minute drive away, and the famous Fukugi Namiki trees in Bise are also only a 2-minute walk away, so you can also enjoy sightseeing.

It takes about 1 hour and 45 minutes from Naha Airport via Okinawa Expressway. From Naha Airport, it takes about 1 hour and 45 minutes via Okinawa Expressway, and more than 2 hours via National Route 58.

If you take a bus, it is surprisingly easy to access. Take the Okinawa Airport Shuttle (OAS/RSL-RP) from the airport, get off at “Bise Fukugi Namiki Iriguchi”, and then it is a 5-minute walk to the restaurant.

Although the distance is far, it takes surprisingly less than 2 hours and you can get there without changing trains!

Motobu-cho in the northern part of Okinawa’s main island is different from Naha and Chatan in terms of the color of the sea and the air. Enjoy the spectacular scenery as much as you can.

The restaurant is a rustic one-story building with a nice terrace made of wood. A blue tuk-tuk is a landmark! The cats that guard the store are adorable! The cats are also cute!

What kind of menu awaits you at this restaurant?

Point 2: Introduce the recommended meal menu for “Chahayablan”!

The restaurant is chicly decorated with rattan furniture as if it were an Asian resort.

There is also outdoor terrace seating, and on sunny days, the large windows are opened to create a semi-open-air setting, so the breeze from the ocean is very pleasant.

Outside, the emerald green sea and Iejima Touchu can be seen, making for a truly spectacular view!

Chahayaburan offers a variety of menu items ranging from gutsy meals to desserts and drinks.

The photo shows the recently introduced “Poki donburi,” a Hawaiian café staple, available in three flavors: honey miso, ume (plum), and Hawaiian chili! It is nice to have a choice of flavors in a poke bowl.

The quartet of tuna, salmon, avocado, and Umi Budou is exquisite, and the Poki bowl is very Okinawan! The bowl is also stylish!

For dessert, the “Brûlée Pancakes” covered with thick cream and sprinkled with nuts and other ingredients, and the “Nuchimasu Salted Caramel Pancakes” with a nice accent of Okinawan salt “Nuchimasu” are also excellent!

Some pancakes come with Spam, bacon, or a fried egg, just like in Okinawa!

The pancakes themselves are not the fluffy pancakes that are popular nowadays, but rather the old-fashioned, well-cooked type, which is also very appealing!

Point 3: Introduction of “Chahayablan” drink and shaved ice menu!

Shaved ice with avocado sauce + coconut milk

The thick “Mango Smoothie” and “Tropical Guava Lassi” are the most popular drinks at Chahayaburan! These cool, rich drinks will soothe your burning body.

We also recommend shaved ice (1,200 yen, tax not included) with various sauces such as strawberry, coconut milk, avocado, pineapple, black sesame, and white bean paste. The names of the shaved ice are fun and make you laugh, such as “Summer Love,” “Forbidden Love,” “Passionate Love,” and “Black History.

Chahayaburan” in Motobu-cho, in the northern part of Okinawa’s main island, is a café with a spectacular view where you can enjoy Hawaiian café classics such as poki-don and rafte-don, shaved ice with tropical sauce and thick juice.

It is located just a short distance from Okinawa Churaumi Aquarium and Bise Fukugi Namiki, so why not stop by on your way home from sightseeing?
