Here we introduce “Organic Market Tembusu” located in Hiyane, Okinawa City and Makishi, Naha, which carries not only regular natural foods but also products unique to Okinawa.

For example, Okinawa’s famous sataa andagi (Okinawan dough) is delicious, isn’t it? But, since it is made from flour, deep-fried, and covered with a lot of granulated sugar, don’t you sometimes hesitate to eat it?

The “Support Spike&coron” in the photo is a popular product and sells out quickly after it comes in. This is a sugar ball made from raw sugar cane, which is slowly dissolved under the tongue. It is said that this helps to discharge emotions and wastes stored in the mind and body, and enhances natural healing power.
Point 3: There are products using Okinawa’s specialty “Gekko”.
Gekko is a specialty of Okinawa.
It is said that shell gingko has insecticide, fungicide, antibacterial, deodorant, and aromatic properties, and has long been used in Okinawa as a wrapping material for moochies (rice cakes).
At this store, you will find a variety of products made from shell gingko, including insecticide, deodorant, and fungicide, hypoallergenic soap, shell gingko nut blended tea, and Shimako water (lotion).
It is a little different from the standard products and would be a good souvenir to be seen by Okinawan connoisseurs!
