About 60 minutes by car from Naha Airport. The restaurant is located in the Halekulani, which opened in 2019 in Onna Village in central Okinawa’s main island. The interior is gorgeous as well,

Point 1: What are the details and location of “Innovative Silhouette”?

Innovative Silu is a restaurant located in the Halekulani Hotel, which opened in 2019 in Onna Village, central Okinawa Island.

Halekulani” is the Hawaiian word for ‘heavenly mansion’ and has been serving Hawaii for over 100 years.

Halekulani Okinawa opened on July 26, 2019, as the second Halekulani location.

The innovative fusion restaurant “SHIROUX” is located in this hotel, which is attracting attention from around the world.

The restaurant is decorated in a gradation of white motifs and offers a world view like a book of poems under the consultation of Hiroyasu Kawate, the owner and chef of Florilege, which was selected as one of the 50 best restaurants in Asia in 2017.

Please note that this restaurant is only open for breakfast and dinner.

The restaurant is wonderfully luxurious and elegantly decorated, and we are impressed that it is indeed the world’s second restaurant of one of Hawaii’s leading hotels.

The word “silu” is, unsurprisingly, an Okinawan word for “white. Come to think of it, various shades of “white” are used strikingly in the interior design.

It takes about 1 hour from Naha Airport via Okinawa Expressway.

By bus, take Ryukyu Bus No. 120 and get off at “Itubu Kibogaoka Iriguchi (for Nago City),” and you will reach the hotel in 2 minutes on foot.

Point 2: Introduction of “Innovative Silhouette” breakfast!

Innovative Silhouette is open for breakfast and dinner only.

Breakfast is a set menu and reservations are required! The budget is 5,000 yen to 6,000 yen. Yes, the price is high for breakfast, but the contents are amazing!

Breakfast consists of fruit juice – coffee/tea – assorted fruits – acai yogurt – main dish.

A few examples are: Yanbaru egg omelet with colorful vegetables and truffle sauce in the bakery basket, two kinds of eggs Benedict with island pork bacon, tomato and hollandaise sauce, angel prawns and avocado mole verde, lomi lomi salmon and basmati rice buckwheat galette with garden salad in the bakery basket, and a main course of eggs Benedict with truffle sauce in the bakery basket. Bakery Basket.

The famous Halekulani Okinawa Original Fluffy Soufflé Pancakes with Hazelnut Sauce were beyond reproach!

The white egg omelette with chia seed tomato salsa and colorful hot vegetables, and the bakery basket with a choice of five different kinds of baked goods were also available.

Pancakes are said to be one of the most popular breakfast items at Halekulani Okinawa and can only be enjoyed at this restaurant during the morning hours.

The pancakes are thick and fluffy looking, but when you put a knife into the pancake, you can hear the sound of the souffle bubbles breaking.

The hazelnut sauce on top of the pancakes is not too sweet, but the nutty flavor is quite rich. If it is not sweet enough, you can also add maple syrup, which is served separately.

The fruits are mango, grape, and pineapple. It is not so common to find Kyoho and mango at breakfast at hotels in Okinawa, but that is to be expected at Halekulani.

Granola with acai yogurt and a choice of orange, mango, or Shikwasa juice! The mango juice is quite thick and delicious.

However, it is said that even if you make a reservation for breakfast here at 7:00 a.m. right after the restaurant opens during peak season, you will have to wait. They even have a waiting list website, so if you don’t like to wait too long, I don’t recommend it. Going off-peak is also an option.

Point 3: Introduction of dinner course for “Innovative Silhouette”!

The dinner course at “Innovative Silhouette” is innovative even from the tableware.

The plate in the photo is made of wood from a tree grown in Okinawa as if Chef Kawate is as particular about his dishes as he is about his ingredients.

The inside of the plate is coated with black lacquer, which makes the food look beautiful.

The dish served on the wooden plate is a baked sweet potato.

The dish is a baked sweet potato, served on a wooden plate with a heart-wrenching presentation in which the baked sweet potato is taken out from among the dead leaves on the wooden plate.

There are not many elaborate dishes such as boiling or baking for a long time. It is a simple dish that cannot be cheated, but it is a perfect way to enjoy the deliciousness of Okinawan ingredients.

Although the quantity of each dish is not large, it can be enjoyed not only by the palate but also by the eyes!

The 10-course menu is priced at 18,000 yen per person, but it will be a memorable experience that will last a lifetime. If you choose this restaurant for your anniversary or celebration, you will be considered a person of a higher rank!

Located in the Halekulani Hotel in Onna Village in central Okinawa’s main island, the Innovative Siru restaurant is a luxuriously decorated restaurant that uses elegant shades of white, which means “white” in the Okinawan language.

Not only does the restaurant offer dishes made with high-quality ingredients but it is completely admired for the courses that have been created with Okinawan history and culture in mind.

The chef, who is as particular about his dishes as he is about his ingredients, gives top priority to the deliciousness of the ingredients, and his cooking methods are very simple. Only the 18,000 yen course is available in the evening, but the food is so memorable that it will stay with you for a lifetime, so please come and visit.
