Point 1: What is the location of “O’s Company Cafe”?
O’s Company Cafe is located in Yatoso, Urasoe City, in the central part of the main island of Okinawa, and serves a delicious steak lunch.
Upon entering the café, which is housed in a slightly aged building, you will notice that it is decorated with musical instruments such as the Sanshin (Okinawan traditional instrument) and ukulele. They also have music-related events at night.
The cafe is run by two women, and the gingham-check tablecloths give it a slightly American impression.
The spacious space with many tables and chairs makes one wonder if it is run by just the two of them. It is a bit worrisome that only two people are running the restaurant.
It is a 21-minute drive from Naha Airport. Even though it is in Urasoe City, it is a little closer to Nishihara Town, so it takes a little longer.
For buses, there are many options: Ryukyu Bus No. 120, No. 99, and No. 190. If you take No. 99 and get off at “Iso Iriguchi”, you can reach the restaurant without having to change buses in 1 minute on foot.
Point 2: Steak, too! Introducing the lunch menu at O’s Company Cafe!
Lunch at O’s Company Café includes Chanpuru, steaks, and pasta. The hours are Tuesday through Friday, 11:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. The restaurant is closed on Sundays and Mondays. Closed on Sundays and Mondays.
There is also a “daily lunch” for 980 yen.
The seared steak plate is especially recommended!
You can choose between 200g and 300g; 200g is 1,200 yen and 300g is 1,600 yen. It is grilled to tenderness, just like roast beef!
Served with plenty of garlic, this thick, seared steak looks delicious and only costs 1,200 yen, which is a bit of a bargain.
The steak plate comes with a small bowl of cooked food, pickles, salad, miso soup (refillable), and white rice. You can choose either white rice or brown rice cooked in a pressure cooker.
The lunch menu also includes drinks, and you can enjoy unlimited iced coffee, iced tea, oolong tea, and detox water, making you feel even more geeky!
For only 1,200 yen, you can enjoy a full steak lunch to your heart’s content!
Point 3: “O’s Company Café” – Introduction of menu items other than steak!
O’s Company Café serves a very good steak lunch, but its other menu items are not to be dismissed.
For example, the Okinawan soba is standard but orthodox Okinawan soba, which is very likable. On Okinawa-soba day, the soup changes to mini Okinawa-soba.
Also, the Chanpuru dishes, which include vegetables, fu, bitter gourd, and tofu, are hearty and well-seasoned, and once you try them, you will be addicted to the flavor!
Once you try it, you will want to eat both steaks.
