Menya Marusho” is a restaurant specializing in Okinawa soba in Katsure, Uruma City.
It is located in the middle of Katsure Peninsula, right next to “White Beach,” a U.S. military facility, and is very difficult to reach except by car.
The exterior of the restaurant has a fresh pale green wall that does not look like an Okinawan noodle shop.

It takes about 1 hour and 16 minutes by car from Naha Airport. If you take the Okinawa Expressway, the time will be shortened slightly.
By bus, first, take Ryukyu Bus No. 190 to “Chubu Commercial High School”, then take Okinawa Bus No. 27 to “Nishinakahara”. It is a 2-minute walk to the restaurant.
The trip will take about 2 hours, but surprisingly only one transfer is required, so access is not that difficult.
