About a minute’s drive from Naha Airport. This cafe is located in Kumoji, Naha City. What a great place to experience delicious pasta made with the Okinawa soba noodle manufacturing method, and you can only experience it in Okinawa! It is hard to decide which one looks best! The retro interior is also a must-see!

Point 1: What is the location of “New Cinema Parlor Kumoji”, one street off Kokusai-Dori?

New Cinema Parlor Kumoji is a cafe in Kumoji, Naha City, that serves delicious pasta made with noodles made using the Okinawa soba noodle manufacturing method.

The casual appearance is made of corrugated slate. There is also a bicycle parking area, where several stylish bicycles are always parked.

The store is located one street off Kokusai Dori and is only a 9-minute drive from Naha Airport. If you are driving, please park in a nearby coin-operated parking lot as there is no parking available.

If you are not driving, it is a 3-minute walk from Kencho-mae Station on the Yui Rail. From the Kokusai-dori Iriguchi bus stop on the Tokyo Bus, it is a 4-minute walk.

Both are convenient because you can come here without transferring!

When you enter the building, you will see a studio-style building made of concrete, which gives it a novel look. However, the use of feminine and slightly retro furniture makes the space comfortable and not too hard.

Point 2: What pasta do you recommend at New Cinema Parlor Kumoji?

New Cinema Parlor Kumoji’s recommended pasta dish is “Bolognese”.

The Bolognese is best served with natto (fermented soybeans) and kohlrabi goose! The addition of the kohlrabi goose is unique to Okinawa.

You can also choose from a variety of toppings such as eggplant, hot eggs, cheese, etc. (at an additional charge).

During lunchtime, there are many other pasta dishes to choose from, including curry from the pasta shop, not curry from the soba noodle shop, and pasta based on “macken cheese,” an American home-style dish that Kevin made when he was alone in his house in “Home Alone.

It is fun to eat pasta in this way, remembering a scene from the movie.

In addition to Okinawan soba noodles, you can also choose homemade pasta noodles with basil, island chili peppers, and other ingredients.

Point 3: “New Cinema Parlor Kumoji” morning Goya Chanpuru sandwich is amazing!

New Cinema Parlor Kumoji offers a morning menu from 9:00 to 11:30.

The morning menu includes “Goya Chanpuru Sandwich,” “Lemon Toast,” and “Pizza Toast,” as shown in the photo, instead of pasta.

It is a bold dish that is a sandwich made of goya Chanpuru (bitter melon stir-fry). The harmony of pork, egg, island tofu, and goya is exquisite!

In addition, the lemons are free of wax and preservatives, and go surprisingly well with the melted butter!

This café seems to excel at cooking with lemons, as they make their own original lemonade and have “lemon carbonara” and “pak choi lemon pasta” in their pasta dishes.
