About 10 minutes by car from Naha Airport. It is a small parlor located in Oroku, Naha City. The exterior looks like an austere hut. The inside is very small with only a few seats, but there are many menus posted on the wall, and a friendly couple will be happy to help you. Mini chinsuko (Japanese sweet) with a variety of flavors are also available as souvenirs!

Point 1: Near the airport! What is the location of “Parlor Isthmus”?

Parlor Icchome” is a parlor located in the southwestern part of Naha City, 10 minutes by car from the airport.

The exterior of the restaurant is impressive, looking like a “hut. Once inside, there are only two chairs and two tables.

It is especially known for its delicious handmade Chinsuko pies, but its meals, desserts, and beverages are also highly rated.

It takes less than 10 minutes by car from Naha Airport.

If you are not driving, it is a 25-minute walk from Yui Rail “Ouyama Koen” station. By bus, take bus No. 120, No. 99, or No. 190 from the airport, get off at “Gun Pier Mae”, and take Ryukyu Bus No. 55 from the bus stop located a 4-minute walk away, get off at “Oroku”, and you can reach the restaurant in 9 minutes on foot.

Although the area is close to the airport, it is a little difficult to access except by car, but this may increase the sense of accomplishment when you arrive!

Also. The area is also close to Lake Chongho, so you will pass through an area of lush greenery, making it a great place for walking.

Point 2: Introduction of the dining menu at “Parlor Icchome”!

At “Parlor Icchome,” the take-out Chinsuko and handmade pies have attracted a lot of attention, but in fact, the eat-in “chicken rice” and other meal menus are also well-received.

Chicken rice is only 350 yen and 400 yen with iced tea!

It may look a little plain, but it has an unmistakable flavor that spreads in your mouth.

Other meal items include Takana, shrimp pilaf, Karubi kimchi, dry curry, and shrimp pilaf, all for 400 yen, and Soba-meshi (buckwheat noodles) for 450 yen. All items at this price come with either eggs or iced tea!

The “soft toast” is 100 yen with a choice of up to two toppings such as soybean flour, honey, cinnamon, cocoa, etc. on toast!

Shaved ice, Zenzai (350 yen with 50 yen milk topping), iced tea (50 yen), coffee, cocoa, calpis, and juices (200 yen) are also available.

The price for a meal, drink, or dessert is only about 600 yen, which can only be found in parlors!

Point 3: Introduction of “Parlor Icchome” Chinsuko and pie!

At “Parlor Icchome,” the owner’s grandfather makes the Chinsuko by hand.

Unlike ordinary Chinsuko, the size is miniature, so you can eat it in one bite!

You can easily eat it after a meal.

The price has increased from 100 yen to 130 yen per bag, but it is still very inexpensive.

The flavors are plain, salt, and sesame.

They do not take saliva with them when you put them in your mouth, and the moist texture is very appealing!

The mini-sized pies also come in a variety of flavors such as red sweet potato, taro, apple, pumpkin, chestnut red bean paste, and sesame, which are more varied than the chinsuko pie!

At 70 yen per piece, these pies are also extremely inexpensive. They are also easy to eat and perfect for children!

However, they are very popular and sometimes sold out late in the day. We recommend coming early.

I envy Okinawa for having a parlor culture, but I think that if such a culture existed in mainland Japan, there would be no need for a “children’s cafeteria. It would also protect the safety of the children who stay at home.

For adults as well, it would be nice to have such parlors at a time when the cost of living is skyrocketing!

Located in Oroku, Naha City, “Icchome Parlor” is a snack, dessert, and drink store with an impressive exterior of an austere hut. It is inexpensive, delicious, and a place of community. Please come and visit.
