Just opened in December 2023! It is a parlor located in Naha. It was created in the image of the parlor the owner man used to go to as a child. Takoyaki and crepes are the main items, and hot dogs and other snacks are also available!
Point 1: What is the location of “Parlor Chirimoyama”?
Parlor Chirimoyama is located in Matsukawa, Naha City, a little further from Sakae-machi Market.
Unlike the semi-open-air parlors that are common in Okinawa, it is a nice one-story old private house.
It just opened in December 2023!
The man who owns the restaurant says that he built it in the image of the parlor he used to go to when he was a child.
It takes about 20 minutes by car from Naha Airport.
By bus, take Naha Bus No. 125, get off at Sakashita Ryusei-Hospital-mae and walk for 1 minute, or get off at Asato Station on the Yui Rail and walk for 11 minutes to get to the restaurant.
Unlike the parlor I had expected, it has the appearance of an old one-story white-tiled house with a very nice atmosphere.
There are two parking spaces for two cars in a row.
It is also nice that it is like a two-row houses with a beauty parlor.
Point 2: Introduction of the takoyaki menu at “Parlor Chirimoyama”!
Parlor Chirimoyama” serves takoyaki, a kind of octopus dumpling.
Takoyaki is usually associated with the Kansai region, but it is also eaten in Okinawa.
There are seven types: pepper mayo, sauce mustard mayo, grated ponzu, green onion mayo sauce, sauce cheese mayo, and cheese mayo pepper!
It looks like an imaginative takoyaki.
The pepper mayo in the photo is the most popular! The mayo-type takoyaki is very strong.
The takoyaki are reasonably priced at 400 to 500 yen for a six-pack. Toppings include mustard mayo, green onions, grated radish, and cheese. (30-100 yen).
It is nice to be able to eat takoyaki in many different variations.
Point 3: “Parlor Chirimoyama” and other menu items!
In addition to takoyaki, Parlor Chirimoyama offers a variety of other menu items. The menu can be divided into three main categories: soup, fried food, and drinks.
For example, the old-fashioned “deep-fried bread” is available in soybean flour and chocolate flavors. There is also a lineup of hash browns, a favorite of children!
There are a variety of delicious menu items such as homemade umujikuji tempura made from red potatoes with a crispy texture!
Other desserts include crepes, and in addition to the chocolate crepe in the photo, there are always about 12 different kinds on the lineup, including sugar butter, chocolate whip, condensed milk butter sugar, salted caramel nuts, and more!
Not only sweet crepes but also “side dish crepes” with sausage and fried egg on top are available.
Zenzai and shaved ice are also popular desserts! When you come to Okinawa, you can’t go wrong with a cold bowl of zenzai!
Another great value is the 600 yen hot dog set, which includes a hot dog filled with wiener, scrambled eggs, cabbage, your choice of drink, and hash browns!
Drinks such as cola, Sampincha, and lemon tea are also available for 120 yen.
In addition to takoyaki, “Parlor Chirimoyama” has a full menu of hot dogs and crepes, and is located in Matsukawa, Naha City. Unlike ordinary semi-open-air parlors, this is a nice old private house, so please come and visit.
