It is about 18 minutes by car from Naha Airport. This Italian restaurant is located on the 2nd floor of a hotel in Omoromachi, Naha City. Salvatore Cuomo is a famous pizza chain restaurant, but this is a hole-in-the-wall restaurant that offers a lunch buffet and pizzas baked in a live kitchen for a reasonable price.
Point 1: On the 2nd floor of the new hotel!
Salvatore Cuomo Omoromachi is an Italian restaurant located on the 2nd floor of Daiwa Roynet Hotel Premier in Omoromachi, a new city center about 18 minutes by car from Naha Airport.
Salvatore Cuomo is a chain restaurant of Italian cuisine, including pizza, that has branches all over Japan, but “Salvatore Cuomo in Okinawa? But what about Salvatore Cuomo in Okinawa?
The Daiwa Roynet Hotel Naha Omoromachi PREMIER is still new, opening in November 2023, and they are using this restaurant as the hotel’s breakfast venue.
However, breakfast will be Japanese/Western/Ryukyuan cuisine, not pizza, and lunch and dinner will be Italian cuisine.
Since it is in a new hotel in the new city center, there is a parking lot, but it is charged 300 yen per hour. There are coin-operated parking lots in the vicinity, so we recommend using those if the parking lot is full.
Located on the second floor of the new hotel, this Italian restaurant has a gorgeous interior. It is different from the Salvatore Cuomo in my town! I’m sure many of you are thinking, “This is not like the Salvatore Cuomo in my town!
Salvatore Cuomo has many different types of restaurants, and this one is a fairly large one that also serves buffets. Even in Tokyo, it seems to be held only in large stores like Ikebukuro and Shinjuku.
The interior with indirect lighting and marble interior gives it a more luxurious feel than ordinary stores. It may be a misnomer to say so, but the restaurant is located inside a hotel, and the food is very promising, with a special atmosphere that is unlike that of a national chain restaurant!
Point 2: “Salvatore Cuomo Omoromachi” Lunch Buffet Menu!
The Italian buffet at Salvatore Cuomo Omoromachi is served during lunchtime.
The price is 1,980 yen (90 minutes) including tax (children 4 years old to 770 yen, elementary school students 1,320 yen), and includes all-you-can-eat pizza, pasta, appetizers, salad, soup, dessert, and drinks!
The pizza is freshly baked by the chef in the live kitchen, so you can enjoy it hot and fresh.
The restaurant gets quite crowded right after it opens, probably due to the great value for money, but there are always 3 or 4 kinds of pizza, pasta, and dessert available.
Pizzas such as Margherita, honey cheese, and the pizza of the day are offered in turn, and pasta such as penne, edamame bacon, and squid ink are offered with a little twist.
In addition to pizza and pasta, there was a wide selection of salads and Italian side dishes, such as roast pork and marinated vegetables, all of which were delicious! It seemed more than worth the price. I especially recommend the carrot rapé.
Desserts are not skimpy either, with a wide variety of desserts including tiramisu, panna cotta, chocolate cake, strawberry cake, chocolate fondue, bananas, marshmallows, pineapple, and more, making for a happy lineup.
The chocolate fondue was especially gorgeous.
Point 3: What is the “Premium Lunch Buffet” at Salvatore Kuomo Omoromachi?
Salvatore Quomo Omoromachi offers a “Premium Lunch Buffet” in addition to the regular lunch buffet priced at 1,980 yen.
This includes the D.O.C. pizza (3,520 yen including tax), which is a cherry tomato, basil, and mozzarella cheese pizza that won the top prize at the Naples Pizza Competition, and a grilled red meat steak plus a regular buffet lunch (4,180 yen including tax). The buffet lunch is a one-rank higher buffet experience.
Please note that the D.O.C. pizza and lean steak are table service, not a buffet.
The food level in Okinawa is very high, with many hamburger and pizza restaurants in the prefecture due to the influence of American culture. Why don’t you dare to compare them at “Salvatore Cuomo” here in Omoromachi?
