It is about 1 hour and 32 minutes by car from Naha Airport. It is a roadside station located in Ogimi Village in the northern part of Okinawa’s main island. Access from the airport is also easy as it is almost a straight road!

The “Roadside Station Ogimi Yanbaru no Mori Visitor Center” is located in Ogimi Village, at the entrance to Yanbaru in the northern part of Okinawa’s main island.

The “Roadside Station Ohmochi Yanbaru no Mori Visitor Center” is one of the largest roadside stations in Okinawa. It can be roughly divided into three sections: a direct sales shop (Kajumaru-kan) selling Yanbaru produce, a restaurant (Yanbaru Seaside) serving set meals, soba noodles, etc., and a parlor (sales booth Parlor Kugani) selling Zenzai and hamburgers.
In addition, at the video corner, visitors can experience the nature of Yanbaru with VR, and at the “Tourist Information Corner,” Yanbaru resident staff will introduce recommended sightseeing spots and other information.
The attraction of Yanbaru is that the motto of the restaurants is “local production for local consumption,” so you can taste freshly caught meat and vegetables as they are.
