Approximately 60 minutes by car from Naha Airport. It is a luxury resort located halfway up a mountain in Onna Village. There are so many different types of hotels in Okinawa that it is very difficult to determine what type of hotel is best! This hotel is not suitable for families, but it is the perfect hotel for those who want to spend a relaxing time with only adults.
Point 1: The mountainside! What is the location of The Atta Terrace Club Towers?
The Atta Terrace Club Towers” has been in business for 20 years and is one of the oldest hotels in Okinawa.
As one of the “Terrace Hotels”, it has been loved by travelers from all over the world for 20 years.
The charm of the hotel is its hospitality, which is always the same, with just the right amount of newness to keep it from feeling old-fashioned.
No matter how many new hotels are built in Okinawa, this hotel has strengths that it cannot compete with. I think that is why there are repeat guests who stay at this hotel every time they visit Okinawa.
It takes about 60 minutes from Naha Airport by car via Okinawa Expressway.
By bus, take Ryukyu Bus No. 120 and get off at “Atuso”. It is a 22-minute walk to the hotel without having to change buses.
Alternatively, although it is via the airport or one of Terrace Hotels’ four affiliated hotels, we recommend using the free shuttle bus service provided exclusively by the hotel. (Two shuttles a day, reservations required)
The hotel is located on a mountainside in Onna Village, a bit far from the ocean, but you can enjoy lush greenery and the ocean in the distance. We do not recommend this hotel for families or those who prefer a beach resort, but it is a 13-year-old and older-only hotel, so it is recommended for those who want to spend a relaxing time with only adults.
Point 2: “The Atta Terrace Club Towers” Rooms
The Atta Terrace Club Towers” offers four types of rooms: Terrace Suite (105㎡), Premier Garden (76-83㎡), Club Luxury (57㎡), and Club Deluxe (52㎡).
The Terrace Suites are perfectly spacious and have simple yet elegant interiors, the Premier Garden has a garden that makes you feel as if you are embraced by a subtropical forest, Club Luxury takes advantage of its corner room location to enjoy the greenery of the East China Sea and Mount Onna, and the Club Deluxe is the lowest category, but has 50 sq. meters of space. Club Deluxe is the lowest category but offers 50 square meters of space and a view of the East China Sea from the sliding door of the open bathroom.
Each of these rooms has its own unique characteristics, and the cheapest is more than 50,000 yen (for two people, including breakfast), but considering the level of satisfaction, it is not so expensive. The rooms are all equipped with access to the club lounge.
Moreover, all rooms have access to the Club Lounge.
On the first floor, the Library Lounge & Bar, which doubles as a library during the day, offers drinks, sweets, and appetizers at three different times: tea time, aperitif time, and nightcap.
In the evening, there are live guitar performances by the poolside where the lounge faces, making it a great place to spend a relaxing evening.
Point 3: “The Atta Terrace Club Towers” breakfast is excellent!
The Atta Terrace Club Towers” has its farm, and the natural bounty harvested from the farm is served for breakfast.
For breakfast, you can choose a main dish such as eggs benedict or galette, and a buffet of salads, juices, and other beverages.
Surprisingly, there is a slow juicer in the breakfast room. You can squeeze bitter melon with a Kubince slow juicer and mix it with your favorite juice such as apple or orange.
You can also rub your own freshly squeezed honey from the farm and dip your bread in it, and tang kung and seeker dressing is offered every other day on salads.
The restaurant already has a stylish menu that includes eggs Benedict and galettes, but the addition of brioche French toast to the new menu makes breakfast even more fashionable and upgraded.
As was the case at Naha Terrace, the atmosphere of the breakfast room was so wonderful that I would like to visit just for this breakfast.
The Atta Terrace Club Towers,” located in Atfujo, Onna Village in central Okinawa’s main island, is a long-established hotel that has been in business for 20 years, but it is moderately new and does not make guests feel old-fashioned, making it a favorite of many repeat guests.
Although the room rate is more than 50,000 yen for two people at the cheapest, satisfaction is guaranteed, so please visit the hotel.
