A three-talent park where you can learn, taste, and shop!

Ogimi Village Seekwasa Park, located in Ogimi Village in northern Okinawa, offers free admission, yet visitors can learn what seekwasa is, taste fresh juice, and enjoy seekwasa shopping.
Northern Okinawa may sound far away, but with Okinawa’s well-developed expressways, it is only an hour and a half from Naha Airport and a 30-minute drive from Churaumi Aquarium.
It is a fun experience that can be enjoyed by adults and children alike, and the time passes quickly. This is a must go.
It is also useful to keep in mind when you really wanted to go to the beach, but a sudden rain change of plans.
Point 1: What are seekers? Learn about
Ogimi Village produces the largest amount of seekers in Okinawa, followed by Motobu Town’s Izumi, Nago City, and other Yanbaru areas.
At the Ogimi Village Seekwasa Park, visitors can see through a glass window the process of pressing the freshly harvested seekwasa within 24 hours to preserve its freshness.
Of course, the staff will explain the pressing process to you.
Unless you are a chu-hi drinker, most of you have probably only tasted the seeker cherries a few times before.
The explanation will help you understand and become more interested in seekers.
Point 2: Taste the Seekers!
Ogimi Village Seekwasa Park has a “dream faucet” where you can enjoy
The “Dream Faucet” is located in the Ogimi Village Seekwasa Park.
You can drink all the seekwasa juice you want for free! The juice is so sour that there is a limit to how much you can drink.
In fact, recent studies have shown that seekwerser contains plenty of nutrients such as vitamin C, vitamins B1 and B2, potassium, calcium, and magnesium, and that it helps reduce high blood pressure and elevated blood sugar levels.
In particular, the amount of “nobiletin,” a type of functional component flavonoid (polyphenol), per 100g is more than 10 times higher than that of Onshu mandarins, and this is what makes it so wonderfully effective.
It is also effective in burning fat, strengthening liver function, improving urination, and improving cognitive function, making it a popular food among health-conscious people.
For a fee, restaurants also offer pizzas, Okinawan soba noodles, and original baked goods made with seekwasa powder.
Point 3: Enjoy seekers shopping!
Ogimi Village Shikwasa Park sells Shikwasa juice, jam, vinegar, and Shikwasa pepper.
They are good for souvenirs as they are not easily found in the mainland.
