About 36 minutes by car from Naha Airport. This is a bar with a foreigner’s patronage located in Chatan-cho 1-chome, central Okinawa Main Island. There is not much information about it, as it is rarely mentioned on SNS, but it is a hole-in-the-wall bar that is reasonably priced, large in quantity, and tasty! It is open late at night, although some days it is open from 7:00 p.m.
Point 1: Is Ella’s the place to go for expatriates in Okinawa? Where is Ella’s located?

Ella’s” is a bar located near Alaha Beach in Chatan-cho 1-chome, central Okinawa.
Because of its location, the bar is frequented by many U.S. military personnel and is busy until late at night.
The clientele is mostly foreign, and the menu is mainly written in English, but it is also written in Japanese since Japanese customers also frequent the bar.
The interior is a comfortable space with indirect lighting, and there is a billiard table and other equipment available for guests to use.
It takes about 36 minutes from Naha Airport via Route 58.
For buses, there are many options such as Okinawa Bus No. 143 or Ryukyu Bus No. 120. Get off at “Chatan” and walk 5 minutes to the restaurant.
Perhaps because of the nearby American Village, there are multiple ways to access the restaurant!
Point 2: Introduction of the food menu at Ella’s!

Ella’s also offers a wide variety of food items.
Most of the food is fried, such as fries, but there are also Filipino dishes such as sisig and adobo.
Steak is also available at a reasonable price of 1,600 yen.
Although not on this menu, there is a wide variety of chicken wings, with unique flavors such as spicy buffalo, garlic parmesan, and mango habanero, for the reasonable price of 1000 yen for six pieces.
The portions are generous, so you can share them with others!
Tacos are also available, just like in Okinawa.
All the dishes are boldly arranged and look very tasty! The portions are large enough to fill a foreigner’s stomach, so they may be a bit much for the Japanese.

At “Ella’s,” you can enjoy beer, wine, whiskey, and cognac at reasonable prices.
Beers include Orion Draft and rare beers such as Longboard and San Miguel. Even rare beers are priced at 900 yen, while Orion Draft and other beers are 600 yen.
There are many types of whiskey, and Japanese whiskeys such as Hakushu and Hibiki are sold at prices as high as 2,000 yen per glass. Japanese whiskey is very popular overseas now.
Also, wine is reasonably priced at 600~700 yen, although there are only a few types of wine: white, red, and Kitty Highball.
Soft drinks such as Red Bull and cola are 500~600 yen. Very reasonable.
Bar “Era’s” in Chatan-cho 1-chome, central Okinawa Island is a cosmopolitan bar where you can enjoy hearty food and reasonably priced drinks at reasonable prices.
