About a minute’s drive from Naha Airport. This taco shop is located on the 2nd floor of a building on Peace Street, near Don Quijote on Kokusai Street. They are famous for their salt-flavored tacos, but they also serve taco rice, combos, and dishes made with Ji-mami tofu. The interior is stylish and trendy!
Point 1: What is the location of LUCKY TACOS on Kokusai Dori?
Want to eat tacos in Okinawa, but have to go to Ginowan or Okinawa City? Are you thinking that you have to go to Ginowan or Okinawa City to get tacos in Okinawa?
There are taco restaurants in Naha, even in Kokusai-dori, if you look hard enough!
LUCKY TACOS on Kokusai-dori is a taco shop located on the second floor of a building on Heiwa-dori, near Don Quijote on Kokusai-dori.
Since the old building has been renovated, unfortunately, there is no elevator, so you have to take the stairs to get up there.
Because it is located on the second floor of a building, not along Kokusai Dori, it is a taco shop known only to those in the know, but it is gradually gaining fans for its delicious salt-flavored tacos, which have been secretly gaining popularity in recent years.
In recent years, tacos with salt on them have been secretly booming at other restaurants, but they are famous for their “salt tacos,” where the rich filling is best matched with the refreshing salt flavor!
The location along Kokusai-dori (International Street) is also helping this restaurant to become a hot spot.
It takes about 17 minutes from Naha Airport via Route 331 and Kokusai-dori, but there is no parking at the store, so please park at a nearby coin-operated parking lot.
By bus, there are many options: Ryukyu Bus No. 120, No. 190, or Naha Bus No. 125, get off at “Hotel Collective-mae” and walk for 5 minutes.
Point 2: “LUCKY TACOS Kokusai Dori” Taco & Taco Rice Menu!
Tacos at Lucky Taco Kokusai-dori are 600 yen for two pieces, 900 yen for three pieces, and 1,200 yen for four pieces.
One type of taco has a large 16-centimeter-diameter crust filled with cheddar cheese, taco meat, and vegetables, so even one piece is quite filling. Rumor has it that the tacos are the largest in Okinawa!
The taco skin is somewhere between crispy and moist, with a nice firmness.
The taco skin is a good consistency, somewhere between crispy and moist, and if you eat it as it is and then sprinkle salt on it as recommended by the waitress, you will find that the richness of the taco is enhanced by the refreshing taste of the salt.
Taco rice is made with the same ingredients as tacos: taco meat, cheddar cheese, and vegetables, but the taco meat piled on top of the rice is different from that served in a tortilla.
Considering the amount of rice and taco meat, I think it is inexpensive at 750 yen.
The “Lucky Taco Set” (900 yen), which includes a taco, taco rice, and Jima Mami tofu, is also popular!
You can also buy Jima Mami Tofu by itself for 300 yen and eat it with a taco or taco rice.
Point 3: “LUCKY TACOS” International Street Branch
Lucky Taco Kokusai-dori also offers ice cream.
Blue Seal, a well-known brand in Okinawa, offers a variety of popular items, including salted Chinsuko, sugar cane, red sweet potato, and Blue Wave.
Especially during the hot season, many people want to eat not only tacos and taco rice but also ice cream.
It is nice to be able to eat Blue Seal ice cream right after eating a rich taco!
The drink lineup also includes a wide variety of alcohol, starting at 550 yen for beer, vodka, gin, cocktails, awamori, and highballs for around 500~700 yen.
As with tacos, the prices are not too expensive, so it is a place where you can casually enjoy yourself. Please come and visit us.
