About a minute’s drive from Naha Airport. The villa is located in Nakijin village in the northern part of Okinawa’s main island. You can enjoy a dreamy stay with a private pool and jacuzzi, and drinks from the refrigerator are free of charge!
Point 1: What is the location of “Resort Villa KAPUKA”?
Resort Villa KAPUKA is located on Kouri Island in northern Okinawa.
There are several similar villas in a row, but each villa is independent of the others, and only one villa is available per day.
The villas are full of playful touches, such as canopy beds and indoor swings, and can be enjoyed by adults and children alike.
Although it just opened in 2023, its distinctive features make it stand out even in the fierce competition for villas on Kouri Island.
It takes about 1 hour and 36 minutes from Naha Airport via the Okinawa Expressway.
By bus, connecting the YKB888 Yanbaru Express Bus and the YKB4T Yanbaru Express Bus will take about 3 hours and 45 minutes, but the fare is reduced to 2,400 yen.
The YKB888 Yanbaru Express Bus takes you to the Nakijin Village Office, from where you can get off at the YKB4T stop at “Kouri Ocean Tower”, a one-minute walk away, and you will reach the hotel in 10 minutes on foot.
It is a northern, even more remote island, but it is properly served by buses and is close to tourist attractions such as Churaumi Aquarium, so it is easy to return and access the hotel.
Point 2: “Resort Villa KAPUKA” Rooms

Resort Villa KAPUKA” is a two-story building with a living room on the first floor and a bedroom on the second floor.
The 90 square meter living room on the first floor has a vaulted ceiling, and the bedrooms on the second floor are flooded with natural light.
The terrace leads to a private swimming pool with an outdoor bathtub. There is also an outdoor bathtub next to it.
The living room overlooking the pool has a swing suspended from the ceiling, and the beds have canopies, creating an experience similar to that of an overseas resort.
Many of the interiors used are made overseas, and the attractive interiors are eye-catching.
On the other hand, some of the interiors are decorated to resemble flower blocks, giving the rooms an Okinawan feel.
Point 3: Introduction of facilities and amenities at KAPUKA Resort Villas

Resort Villa KAPUKA” has a fairly authentic kitchen, equipped with fashionable appliances such as Balmuda. There is also a refrigerator with a slightly retro design to avoid giving the impression of being lived in, and you can tell that a lot of effort has been put into the interior design.
There is no shortage of household and kitchen appliances, and bath amenities are organic, and beauty products such as scalp care are available for rent.
Furthermore, drinks in the refrigerator are free, including Japanese whiskeys such as Hibiki, Yamazaki, and Hakushu, and Japanese sake such as Otter’s. While many free drinks are apologetic, this is great!
However, I am a little disappointed that there is no washer/dryer in the household appliances. There is also no mention of condiments or room clothes, so please bring your own.
Furthermore, parking on the first floor of the hotel is free, but please be aware that there is no elevator to go up to the upper floors and it is a stairway, so please be considerate of strollers and wheelchairs.
