Located in Nakijin Village in northern Okinawa Island, about an hour and a half by car from Naha Airport, this cottage was built in 2024. Although it is a one-story house, it has 77 square meters of space and can accommodate up to seven people! There is a barbecue area on the terrace, and you can enjoy fireworks on the grounds. There is nothing around, but it is surrounded by nature and perfect for friends or families who want to spend a quiet vacation!

Cottage Sea Wind is located in a quiet area surrounded by greenery and the sea in Nakijin Village, northern Okinawa Island. It is about a 2-hour drive from Naha Airport and offers easy access to the World Heritage Site of Nakijin Castle Ruins and Kouri Island, making it the perfect base for sightseeing.
It is only a 15-minute drive to the popular Jungle Land and Churaumi Aquarium, making it the ideal location for sightseeing.
However, there are few commercial facilities or restaurants in the surrounding area, and the nearest convenience store is a bit of a distance away, so it is essential to stock up on supplies in advance. But in exchange, you can enjoy a peaceful environment free from the hustle and bustle of the city, with only the sound of waves and birdsong as background music.
It is the perfect location to experience the luxury of doing nothing. There is also a beach right next to the inn, where you can enjoy a stroll along the coast in just a few minutes on foot.
It takes approximately one and a half hours by car from Naha Airport via the Okinawa Expressway.
By bus, there are various options such as the Okinawa Airport Shuttle OAS/RSL-RP, regular buses, and the Yanbaru Express Bus, but while it takes a bit longer, using the “Yanbaru Express Bus (YKB888)” is recommended as it can save you about 1,000 yen in costs.
With the Yanbaru Express Bus, get off at “Nakajima” and it’s a 19-minute walk from there.
Point 2: Introduction to the rooms at Cottage Sea Wind Nakijin
The room boasts a spacious 77 square meters and features a blend of Japanese and Western styles. It is a Japanese-Western style room with a tatami mat area and a bedroom, accommodating up to six guests.
There are about eight cottages of the same type in the surrounding area, each with a slightly different layout! Some repeat guests look forward to staying in a different room every year.
The spacious design is suitable for families and group trips, and is also convenient for those traveling with children. The wooden interior exudes warmth and creates a comfortable space that harmonizes with the tropical atmosphere.
Having been built in 2024, the interior is very clean, and the facilities are new and comfortable.
The price is very reasonable, with four adults staying in early July costing around 30,000 yen. Although there is no pool, the spaciousness and facilities make this price unbeatable.
Point 3: Facilities at Cottage Sea Wind Nakijin
The kitchen is equipped with a microwave, refrigerator, induction cooker, and tableware, making it easy to cook your meals. The bathroom is clean and has a separate sink and shower that are easy to use.
There is a hidden gem of a beach called Nagahama Beach within walking distance, and there is also an outdoor shower, so you can clean up before returning to your room.
There is also a washing machine, which is useful for long stays or washing clothes after a day at the beach (there is no dryer).
Free Wi-Fi is available, making it easy to work remotely or stream videos. The windows offer views of greenery and the sea, creating a relaxed atmosphere where time seems to slow down.
There is also equipment available for BBQ in the garden (prior reservation or rental confirmation required), allowing you to enjoy a leisurely dinner under the clear night sky characteristic of the northern region.
