Approximately 1 hour and 17 minutes by car from Naha Airport. This is a modern Okinawan traditional house villa located in the southern part of Nago City in northern Okinawa Island. The house is surrounded by concrete walls, and Shisa statues welcome you. At night, the house is beautifully lit up. The interior is modern Asian style with a contemporary feel. Recommended for families and solo travelers who want to relax.
Point 1: Where are “Villacochia Alamanada” and “Villacochia Alamanada” located?
Nestled in the northern part of Okinawa Island, in the lush natural surroundings of the Nago area, ‘Villa Kogachi Alamanada’ is a special place where time seems to slow down, and the gentle breeze of the tropics can be felt. Located just a short distance from the popular tourist destination of Nago City, yet offering the seclusion of a hidden retreat, this villa is a true gem.
Surrounding the villa are spots that stimulate the senses, such as the sea, Yanbaru Forest, local cafes, and craft shops. This villa offers a space where you can escape from daily life and breathe deeply in an environment where nature and culture thrive.
It is only a 13-minute drive to the popular “Jungle Okinawa.” Located relatively close to the southern part of Nago City, it is also conveniently located near National Route 58 and the Okinawa Expressway, making it easy to travel.
From Naha Airport, it takes approximately 1 hour and 17 minutes via the Okinawa Expressway.
By bus, there are several routes available. Take the “Yanbaru Express Bus” (YKB888) to Nago City Hall, then walk 2 minutes to the Ryukyu Bus stop and take bus number 66 to “Kawachi Agricultural Cooperative,” followed by a 16-minute walk.
While it takes a bit longer, the YKB888 Yanbaru Express Bus is approximately 1,000 yen cheaper than the regular bus or the Okinawa Airport Shuttle OAS/RSL-RP, so we recommend this option.
Point 2: Villa Cocagachi Alamanada: Interior design that blends tradition and modernity
Villa Kogachi Aramanda is a single-story villa that has been carefully renovated from an old Okinawan house. The red-tiled roof and concrete walls give it a traditional Okinawan look, and a cute shisa statue watches over the gate. At night, the exterior is lit up with soft lights, creating a fairy-tale-like atmosphere.
The interior features an open-plan design, yet spans 50 square meters and includes two bedrooms with five sets of futons.
The first thing that catches the eye is the large wooden dining table, adorned with candles and dried flowers, and laid with lunch mats reminiscent of Bali’s adan fabric, creating a modern ethnic ambiance.
Adjacent to this is a living space with a comfortable sofa for relaxation. It’s the perfect space for post-meal coffee, reading, or chatting, offering the comfort of feeling at home while on vacation.
The bedrooms feature two semi-double beds. White linens and natural-material cushions provide a clean, soothing atmosphere, while tropical-style furnishings add a subtle accent. The bedrooms are also a healing space that gently wraps you in comfort after a long day.
Point 3: ‘Villa Gachiramanada’ Comfortable facilities and outdoor enjoyment
Villa Kogachi Alamanada is fully equipped with everything you need for daily life. The kitchen has an induction cooker, refrigerator, cooking utensils, and tableware, so you can enjoy cooking with ingredients purchased from the local supermarket. Another nice feature is the water dispenser.
The bathroom is spacious and clean, with a stylish sink area and plenty of large bath towels provided. You can enjoy a comfortable stay, feeling as though you are living there rather than just staying there.
Perhaps the most special feature is the outdoor wooden deck terrace, which features a jacuzzi where you can enjoy a luxurious bath under the starry night sky. There is also a single-person swing chair, and the time spent swaying gently while feeling the pleasant breeze will surely leave a lasting memory in your heart.
It is perfect for families, couples seeking a peaceful retreat away from the hustle and bustle, or solo travelers.
At Villa Kogachi Alamanada, you can take a deep breath and escape from daily life.
