Point 1: Location of Pumura Okinawa: A tranquil place surrounded by forests and the sea

Pumura Okinawa is located in Nago City, near Nakijin, at the entrance to the Yanbaru Forest. A short walk down a small path from the main road, you will suddenly come across a modern building that looks more like an art gallery than a villa at first glance. With nothing to block your view of the surrounding area, you can spend your days listening to birds singing in the morning and insects chirping at night. It is truly a “lodge open to nature.”

In terms of tourist attractions, it is about a 15-minute drive to Kouri Island, Nakijin Castle Ruins, and Churaumi Aquarium, making it an excellent base for sightseeing. It is also about a 15-minute drive to the popular Jungle Land.

However, the greatest charm of this villa lies in its “space where you can feel fulfilled without going anywhere.”

We hope you will stay here and enjoy nature and your stay to the fullest.

Access from Naha Airport is approximately 90 minutes via the Okinawa Expressway.

By bus, take the Okinawa Airport Shuttle OAS/RSL-RP to “Nago City Hall Front,” then walk 2 minutes to the Ryukyu Bus stop and take bus number 70 to “Second Onna,” followed by a 22-minute walk.

While it takes time, the journey itself offers a hiking-like experience.

Point 2: Room Introduction: “Pumura Okinawa” A beautiful, inspiring space with plenty of white space.

Pumura Okinawa is a villa limited to two groups per day. The interior features a sophisticated minimalist design, with white walls contrasting with warm wood tones. The space is stripped of all unnecessary elements, with artworks, ceramics, and lighting arranged in perfect balance, creating a feeling of staying in an art museum.

There are two room types: 50㎡ and 150㎡, both offering spacious, warm country-style interiors.

Large windows offer views of the forest bathed in morning sunlight or the soothing sight of dappled sunlight filtering through the trees during the day. The shower room also exudes a sense of openness, with its high ceilings and natural wood finishes, enhancing the bathing experience.

Point 3: Pumura Okinawa Facilities: Cooking, living, and being part of nature

The kitchen is fully equipped with a four-burner induction cooktop, oven, dishwasher, refrigerator, and other appliances. The tableware, mainly Yachimun (Okinawan pottery), has been tastefully selected, making even cooking time a highlight of your trip.

Outside, there is a large wooden deck and table set, and on sunny days, we recommend enjoying breakfast or dinner outdoors. True to the northern region, the night sky is stunningly beautiful, with the Milky Way visible, and simply sitting and gazing at the sky can be deeply relaxing.

For an additional fee, campfire and BBQ equipment rentals are also available (1,000–2,000 yen extra). This is a unique pleasure made possible by the spacious garden.

Wi-Fi, heating/cooling, and a washing machine are also provided, making it suitable for long-term stays. Artworks and books placed throughout the interior add a comfortable touch, reflecting the owner’s taste and vision.

A luxurious space that stimulates the senses in tranquility. “Pumura Okinawa” is a one-of-a-kind villa we recommend to adult travelers seeking a “living-like stay” that cannot be experienced in a hotel.

The absence of anything is the greatest luxury. This place helps you realize that truth.
