Point 1: Omoromachi Area! Where is ‘Soup Soup’ located?
『Soup Soup』Originally located in Awasé’s “Square Awasé,” this shop relocated and reopened in August 2023.
When you think of soup specialty shops, places like “Soup Stock Tokyo” come to mind in Tokyo or Osaka, but it hasn’t made it to Okinawa yet. I imagine people who moved here were disappointed.
The soups, packed with ingredients, offer quality that truly rivals Soup Stock Tokyo. The prices are also relatively reasonable, and it’s great that you can order not just individual soups but also set meals!
It’s about a 15-minute drive from Naha Airport via National Route 331.
If not by car, take the Yui Rail to Omoromachi Station, then walk 6 minutes.
The unique sign is shaped like a soup cup. Inside, the spacious, stylish space offers a comfortable environment to enjoy your soup.
Also, water is self-serve, but the system is unique—you turn a brass faucet to get it!
It’s these little ideas that really draw you in.
Point 2: Introducing the à la carte menu at 『Soup Soup』!
『Soup Soup』basically offers 10 different single-serving soups.
These include Chicken Cream Soup, Tomato Corn Cream Soup, Chunky Vegetable Beef Stew, Rich Pumpkin Curry Potage, Mushroom and Tuna Japanese-Style Potage, Soy Milk Clam Chowder, Chili Con Carne, and Chicken Gumbo. Each looks hearty and delicious.
You can also add pasta as an option.
While there may be slight seasonal rotations, these soups are generally available year-round.
It seems there aren’t any uniquely Okinawan menu items!
You can sample any soup, so if one catches your eye, try a taste before deciding!
Prices are ¥550 for S, ¥1,050 for M, and ¥1,150 for L.
Additionally, there are five single-item curry options priced at S (small) 600 yen and M (medium) 850 yen.
One of the single-item curries is curry udon. The others are onion and chicken curry, Indian-style curry, bamboo shoot and chicken green curry, and Japanese-style pork curry.
All the curries feature large chunks of ingredients, making them very satisfying.
Point 3: Introducing the Set Menu at 『Soup Soup』!
At Soup Soup, we offer soup sets that come with either rice or bread, plus salad or crackers, and a drink. We also have sets with two soups or smaller sizes, so you can customize them to your liking.
Plus, we have three curry sets and two curry & soup sets, making it perfect for guys who might feel hungry with just soup!
Soup sets can be hot or cold, with your choice of bread or rice. Creamy soups are rich and pair perfectly with bread!
