Nestled along the beautiful coastline of Nago City in northern Okinawa Island, Ocean’s Cottage is a secluded retreat offering a resort-style, entire-house rental experience where you can fully immerse yourself in the charm of the tropics. Why not enjoy the leisurely passage of time, enveloped by the sea and sky stretching before you and the sound of the waves?

Point 1: Right on the beach in the southern Honbu Peninsula! The location of ‘Oceans Cottage’

Ocean’s Cottage is located in a quiet coastal area in the southern part of Nago City. While removed from the hustle and bustle, it offers excellent access to tourist spots like the Churaumi Aquarium and Nakijin Castle Ruins, making it a convenient base for exploring the northern region.

It’s only about a 25-minute drive to the popular Jungle Land.

A private beach stretches right in front of the lodge, offering a special feeling as if you have your own private ocean. Wake up to the sound of waves in the morning, play on the sandy beach during the day, and enjoy the sunset sinking below the horizon all to yourselves at dusk—you can spend such luxurious moments here.

From Naha Airport, it takes about 90 minutes via the Okinawa Expressway. Parking costs 1,000 yen per day.

By bus: First, take the Tokyo Bus (TK02) or similar from the airport to Kokusai-dori Entrance. From the Prefectural Office North Exit (a 3-minute walk), board the Okinawa Airport Shuttle OAS/RSL-RP and get off at “Nago City Hall Front.” Then, walk 2 minutes to the Ryukyu Bus stop and take Bus No. 65, getting off at “Buma.” The cottage is right in front of this bus stop.

You might think it’s hard to access in the northern part, but the shuttle bus system is well-developed, and the bus stop is right in front of the cottage, so it’s actually quite accessible.

Point 2: The Ocean’s Cottage—Easy to Use in a Studio Apartment [Room Introduction]

Ocean’s Cottage, opened in April 2018, is a villa-style property available for exclusive rental, accommodating up to four guests. Adjacent to it stands another cottage of identical design, yet each offers completely separate spaces and entrances, ensuring privacy.

The interior features an open-plan layout. Within approximately 42 square meters, the living area, kitchen, and bed are compactly arranged, creating an efficient and user-friendly design.

The furnishings are unified in tropical-style rattan, creating a warm, resort-like interior that soothes the soul. Though compact, it’s the perfect size for enjoying a relaxed, unhurried stay.

Since there isn’t a separate bedroom, it’s recommended more for small groups or close friends and family rather than multiple families staying together.

Point 3: Jacuzzi on the Terrace! ‘Ocean’s Cottage’ [Other Amenities & Services]

The greatest appeal of this cottage lies in its exclusive guest benefits and extensive activities. At the private beach right in front, you can rent tents, tables, and chairs (normally worth ¥10,000 per day) absolutely free. Enjoy leisurely reading by the sea or picnics with family and friends, making the most of your free time.

Furthermore, the owner is passionate about marine sports, offering experiences like jet skiing and SUP (stand-up paddleboarding). A particularly delightful perk is the complimentary banana boat ride included for every guest—a huge hit with families traveling with children.

The cottage also features a jacuzzi with a terrace overlooking the ocean. In the evening, you can savor a luxurious moment gazing at the orange-hued sky and sea.

Ocean’s Cottage is perfect for those who want to fully enjoy Okinawa’s ocean, those seeking quiet relaxation, and those craving a little escape from the ordinary. Why not spend some special time just for yourself, embraced by Nago’s nature?
