While the area around the guesthouse is a quiet residential neighborhood, just a 5-minute drive takes you to the stunning emerald green sea. Convenience stores and supermarkets are scattered nearby, making it convenient for long stays or those who prefer to cook their own meals. It also serves as an excellent base for sightseeing, offering easy access to quintessential Okinawan spots like Katsuren Castle Ruins, Hamahiga Island, and the Underwater Road, making it perfect for road trips.
From Naha Airport, it takes about 60 minutes via the Okinawa Expressway. The journey includes crossing the scenic Underwater Road.
By bus: First, take a bus like TK02 Tokyo Bus to “Naha Commercial High School.” From there, walk 4 minutes to the Ryukyu Bus stop “Okinawa Times Mae” and board bus #80. Get off at “JA Yonashiro Mae.” Then, walk 1 minute to the Heanza Sogo Kaihatsu bus stop “JA Okinawa Yonashiro Branch” and board another bus. Get off at “Hamagawa Shoten Mae” and walk 4 minutes.
While the bus route involves multiple transfers and takes just under 3 hours, the sense of accomplishment upon arrival is truly rewarding.
