About 100 different experiences are available at “Experience Kingdom Murasakimura”!

Originally established as an open studio for the NHK Taiga Drama “Winds of Ryukyu” (broadcast in 1993). “Can’t we use it in some way to revitalize the local community?” and members who had never been involved in tourism before rose to the occasion, and the village has now evolved into a place where about 100 different experiences are available.
About 100 different experiences!
Experience Kingdom Murasakimura” offers many experiences from traditional crafts to nature experiences.
One of the attractions is that visitors can experience traditional Okinawan crafts such as making a “Kanran Sanshin” or a masked Shi-sa.
Also, you can experience marine activities in the clear blue ocean of Okinawa, such as meeting whale sharks and fish, and visiting the Blue Cave.
The accommodation facility opened 11 years after its establishment.
Each room has a nameplate with an Okinawan surname, and the “Hotel Murasakimura” also has a world view that makes you feel as if you are an Okinawan citizen. The view of the ocean and the city of Naha from the window is soothing.
The dining room for the breakfast buffet is also decorated like an old Okinawan house, creating an atmosphere that makes you feel like you are in Okinawa, both with your eyes and your skin.
