Yanbaru Adventure Field is a hands-on adventure field located in Higashi Village in the northern part of Okinawa’s main island.
Located about 2 hours from Naha Airport via expressway, visitors can experience a variety of activities. After harvesting and roasting coffee beans at the adjoining Matayoshi Coffee Garden, you can enjoy a cup of coffee at the café and take a break.
Accommodations are also available, so you can enjoy the great nature of Yanbaru at the campground or spend a relaxing time in a cottage with an ocean view.
Point 1: Activities to enjoy the great outdoors
Yanbaru Adventure Field offers the Yanbaru Zipline and ATV Adventure Tours.
The Yanbaru Zipline is an experience of five ziplines of different heights and lengths located on the grounds. A guide will accompany you on all courses and give you a lecture on how to jump. You can also take a walk in the Yanbaru forest. The tour takes 90 to 120 minutes.
The ATV Adventure takes you around the farm course, forest course, and view course by ATV, and you will return to experience the nature of Yanbaru.
If you combine the Zipline → Buggy, you can experience two in one day.
Point 2: You can experience harvesting and roasting in a coffee garden!
The Matayoshi Coffee Garden is located on the grounds of Yanbaru Adventure. In the coffee garden, visitors can experience the harvesting and roasting of coffee beans.
In the coffee bean harvesting experience, visitors can experience the entire process of harvesting, processing, and extracting the coffee fruit grown in the coffee garden. This is a hands-on learning experience for adults who want to think about the value of coffee by learning about the producer’s thoughts and the production process.
In the coffee bean roasting experience, visitors can roast coffee beans while enjoying the changes in aroma and sound, and make their original coffee. This roasting experience may help you discover the charm of roasting!
Point 3: Have the nighttime starry sky all to yourself at your accommodation.
Yanbaru Adventure Field has a campground and cottages where you can enjoy the great nature of Yanbaru. Especially at night, you can enjoy the star-filled sky all to yourself because there are no street lights around.
The campground has designated sites and free sites. Designated sites are equipped with power and running water so that even beginners can enjoy the camping experience. If you bring your tent, you can camp in this environment!
All of the triangular-roof cottages have ocean views and are equipped with an open-air Jacuzzi. You can relax and unwind surrounded by the nature of Yanbaru.
