This casual Hilton hotel is located on a hill near Shuri Castle. The hotel offers a very affordable yet luxurious Hilton experience that is sure to make your stay a satisfying one.
Point 1: Elegant image room at DoubleTree by Hilton Naha Shurijo!

DoubleTree by Hilton, formerly Nikko Grand Hotel. There are two Doubletree brand hotels in Naha. One is DoubleTree by Hilton Naha near the airport, and the other is DoubleTree by Hilton Naha Shurijo, located on the east side of Naha City, about 20 minutes by car from Naha Airport.
Despite being a Hilton brand, the price is not too expensive: 10,000 yen for two people including breakfast is reasonable.
The building itself is old, but the rooms are well maintained and larger than average, and the clean, urban design is as you would expect from the Hilton brand! However, due to the age of the building, I am a little concerned about some of the reviews about the musty smell of the water.
It is also nice to receive warm chocolate chip cookies when checking in! A little hospitality goes a long way when you are traveling. This is a service that has been around since the 1970s, and they use the same recipe to make this service at Doubletrees all over the world.
All of the 333 guest rooms are equipped with 40-inch TVs, coffee tables, and work desks, and the suites also have living rooms, small kitchens, and dining tables in addition to these features.
Point 2: The pool surrounded by palm trees at the DoubleTree by Hilton Naha Shurijo is amazing!
The DoubleTree by Hilton Naha Shurijo has a garden pool surrounded by palm trees, despite its location on the east side of Naha City.
Many hotels in Naha City have pools as part of their hotel, but it is rare to find one with a garden pool, and this pool is one of the largest garden pools in Naha.
It is equipped with proper deck chairs, and at night the palm trees and the bottom of the pool are lit up, creating a fantastic atmosphere.
The garden pool is the perfect place to relax in the middle of the city of Naha while reminiscing about the sunsets in Motobu-cho and Onna-mura, where you stayed the night before.
Point 3: The restaurant at DoubleTree by Hilton Naha Shurijo is amazing!

Hilton has a reputation for the variety and taste of its breakfast. The DoubleTree by Hilton Naha Shurijo is no exception.
The breakfast room, with its slightly retro atmosphere, offers an abundant buffet of Japanese, Western, and Okinawan dishes using local ingredients, and Hilton’s Platinum members are entitled to a special four-course extra.
The hotel also puts a lot of effort into its restaurant outside of breakfast, including a lunch buffet, Chinese cuisine, a young chef’s cooking fair, and a sweets buffet, which is very tasteful and I would like to try it before check-in or after check-out if possible.
Thus, DoubleTree by Hilton Naha Shurijo is a hotel with sophisticated and spacious rooms and a garden pool surrounded by palm trees, even though it is in Naha City.
It is a very cozy hotel with reasonable rates for a delicious breakfast. It is a very well-located hotel that is a good base for sightseeing not only in Naha City but also in the northern part of Okinawa’s main island.
