When it comes to readily available Western-style confections, cream puffs are probably the first thing that comes to mind for many people.
Some have a soft crust, some have a crisp cookie dough crust, and some are delicious foods filled with the individuality of the store.
There are also various types of cream, making it exciting even before you eat it.
Patisserie Moromi, which has a store in Miyagi, Urasoe City, has a wide selection of cakes and baked goods, with cream puffs, in particular, being very popular.
Here you will find delicious cream puffs that are easy to finish even in the hot weather of Okinawa.
Point 1: Overpriced cream puffs

The cream puffs here are so reasonably priced that children come here alone to buy them as a snack.
And yet, the size of the cream puffs is clearly larger than those at other stores, and the cream puffs are filled to the brim, showing the generosity of the owner.
As for the taste, let’s start with the crust.
The crust is a little firm, yet crispy, and the savory flavor is irresistible.
The cream is custard whip, not too thick and not too sweet.
The cream is so filling that you could drown in it.
Point 2: Hidden hits are also available.

Patisserie Moromi” also handles many cakes and baked goods.
It would be a shame to focus only on cream puffs!
The shop is loved by the local community, and we often hear people ask for birthday cakes for their children.
It is also great that they have a full lineup of seasonal products and new items come out consistently.
My favorite item is the “Choco Stick.
It is rich with layers of milk chocolate, crunchy puffs, and chocolate tart dough.
Pair it with a cup of tea and you will be enveloped in a sense of happiness….
Point 3: Easily accessible location

Miyagi, Urasoe City” may sound like a local place, but it is relatively easy to access.
Although not on Route 58, just one street over is the Miyagi area.
You need to be careful because there is a lot of on-street parking on Okinawa’s roads, but you can stop by Patisserie Moromi with peace of mind because there is a parking lot in front of the store.
There are many things to see and do around the area, including Okinawa’s representative supermarket “Sanei” and the American market “Jimmy’s.” On the way back to your accommodation, you can stop at one of the many shops along the way.
Stop by on your way back to your accommodation and enjoy the delicious Okinawan cuisine!
