About 40 minutes by car from Naha Airport. This steakhouse is located by the sea in Chatan Town. It has received an incredibly high rating of 4.8 on a review site! In addition to reasonably priced, high quality steaks, you can enjoy seafood and even nigiri (rice balls). The wonderful view of the seaside is also a treat.
Point 1: “Blue Ocean Steak is reasonably priced!
Blue Ocean Steak is located by the sea in Chatan Town’s American Village.
When you hear about a restaurant that receives high scores on review sites, you may wonder how expensive and upscale it is. However, it is not only the good price that makes the restaurant so highly rated.
It is also important to be able to eat reasonably priced food.
In this respect, Blue Ocean Steak offers the most reasonable dinner set at 2,780 yen for a 100g steak! Of course, the price goes up when it comes to prefectural or domestic A5-rank steak, but it is not a surprisingly low price.
The meat is tender, and many people say that once they try it, they become addicted to it!
Another unusual menu item is “Aburi-zushi,” a nigiri of meat served with salt (320 yen per piece). Many people have also picked this up as an excellent menu item.
In fact, I learned about this restaurant through a recommendation from a staff member of a famous hotel in Ginowan.
Since this restaurant is recommended by a hotel staff with a discerning palate, you can understand the high grade of the restaurant!
Also, since the restaurant is located at the ocean’s edge of the Chatan Town American Village, it is the perfect place to enjoy the magic hour of the sunset over the East China Sea!
You could say the view is part of the feast!
Point 2: Seafood is also excellent at Blue Ocean Steak!
One of the unique features of this “Blue Ocean Steak” is that you can also eat teppanyaki seafood.
And not just a few types of seafood, but eight different courses and six individual items, which are also more expensive than steaks, but are in a reasonable category.
One example is the Machi (white fish) with Seekwasa ponzu, which can only be found in Okinawa. Also, garlic shrimp is of such a high grade that people who have eaten garlic shrimp in Hawaii and around the world will give their stamp of approval!
We are happy to have so many other choices of meat!
Point 3: Blue Ocean Steak also has an extensive drink menu!
Blue Ocean Steak also offers a wide variety of drinks to enjoy with its meat and seafood.
The draft beer is reasonably priced at 590 yen, and there are also plenty of awamori and non-alcoholic cocktails.
Awamori and non-alcoholic cocktails are also available, but the most notable feature is the extensive wine list.
Red wine is the most common wine to go with meat, but the wine list also includes orange wine, fruit-infused wine, and other premium wines, so ask the staff for more information.
It is not every day that a steakhouse has a wine expert on hand!
