Kaiza” is a resort hotel located in Nanjo City, about 35 minutes by car from Naha Airport. It is a small hotel with a main building and an annex, a total of 6 rooms, but it is a resort hotel with a private atmosphere based on the concept of “simple but luxurious space. With an open-air bath and hammocks, guests can relax to their heart’s content.

Point 1: What kind of rooms are in the main building of “Kaiza,” which has a resort-like atmosphere?

The resort hotel “Kaiza” (海坐), located in Nanjo City in the southern part of Okinawa’s main island, has only six rooms: four in the main building and two in the annex.

There are four rooms in the traditional main building and two rooms in a newly constructed, more private condominium-type annex.

The main building is a wooden one-story building with plaster walls and natural materials, and the twin rooms are small and cozy, 13 square meters in size, with a sense of eco-friendliness.

The bed is a natural teak low bed that was custom ordered from Indonesia. The low bed provides a low point of view and makes the room look spacious.

The room has a double sliding door window and a horizontal window above it to let in light, so that you can enjoy the view of the ocean whether standing or sitting.

The rustic interior design of the rooms is the work of local young people.

Bathrooms and toilets are shared, but since there are only four rooms in total, you will not feel inconvenienced.

There is also a hammock and a tsuboniwa garden outside.

We dare not put a TV in the room, so take this opportunity to enjoy the beautiful nature.

Point 2: What kind of room is the house-type “Kaiza” villa?

The villa is a spacious 53m2 concrete cottage, which is a complete change from the main building.

The cool concrete exterior and interior, with wood used here and there, and interior decorations and objets d’art reminiscent of an Asian resort, will make you feel at home.

The floors are made of solid Yakushima cedar, so you can feel the difference in the way your feet feel on the floor.

The bathroom also has a well-designed sink, a small window overlooking the southernmost ocean of the main island of Okinawa, and a bathtub.

This is a condominium type and can accommodate up to 4 people, so it is ideal for couples or really like-minded friends.

However, we do not allow junior high school students and younger to stay here.

There are many words to describe Umi-za, such as “healing inn” or “secluded inn,” but “hideaway” seems to be the most apt description.

Point 3: The excellent breakfast by the owner and his wife of “Kaiza” is amazing!

KAI-ZA is run by a couple who are fascinated by Asian resorts. The breakfast prepared by this discerning couple, who have stayed at resorts around the world, is a true delicacy.

The breakfast, served on a selected yachimun, consists mainly of Western-style dishes such as ham and eggs, salad, yogurt, and coffee, but it is beautifully and tastefully arranged with color. The breakfast is served in a yachimun, which is a standard Western-style dish of ham, eggs, salad, yogurt, coffee, and coffee, but it is beautifully and tastefully arranged with a touch of color.

In addition, the Corona disaster seems to be a room meal at the villa, and the breakfast prepared in advance in the refrigerator can be heated and eaten in the microwave whenever you like without any hesitation!

Furthermore, eating on the terrace while enjoying the extra fine view increases the deliciousness by 20%!

The rooms alone are lovely, but the lack of time restrictions and the greater flexibility of the stay has resulted in many people saying they are “very satisfied with everything”.
