About 42 minutes by car from Naha Airport. We found a delicious Italian restaurant in a fashionable area of Kitanakagusuku Village in central Okinawa, which is surprisingly easy to reach. It is a restaurant with a reputation for its generous portions and delicious food. What kind of restaurant is it?
Point 1: What is Kitanakagusuku Village where “MOLT BUONO” is located?

Kitanakagusuku Village, where MOLT BUONO is located, is a relaxing and scenic place compared to places like Naha. While tourist destinations such as Chatan have a view of the East China Sea, Kitanakagusuku Village offers a view of the “Pacific Ocean.
Lai Kham, where the U.S. military command base was located before Okinawa was returned to Japan from the U.S., has one of the largest ions in Okinawa, and there are also World Heritage sites such as the “Nakagusuku Castle Ruins” and the “Nakamura Family Residence,” a typical Okinawan house.
Kitanakagusuku Village has a minibus called “Gusu Megurin” that connects all these places. The fare is 100 yen, so it is easy to get on and off.
During the demonstration experiment some time ago, only one-way routes were available, but now it seems that a route that goes around the other side of the village has been created, making it even more convenient.
Although it is not a so-called typical tourist spot in Okinawa, with hotels such as “EM Wellness Living Fermented Life Resort” and stylish restaurants scattered around, it is a good place for those who want to mix with the locals and enjoy Okinawa at a leisurely pace.
Point 2: What are the characteristics of the food at MOLT BUONO?

MOLT BUONO” is highly rated as a delicious Italian restaurant, no matter what you eat.
The menu is centered on pasta dishes, and the names of the dishes are such that you can almost imagine what you will find on the menu: “blue crab and large peeled shrimp in tomato cream sauce,” “slow-cooked polonaise,” “jet-black squid smelt,” and so on.
When I tried the dish, I was impressed to find that it was exactly as it sounded! Moreover, the dishes are full of ingredients and generous in volume, and you can tell that they are carefully prepared with a lot of heart and time.
Other dishes include pizza and gratin,
Prices range from 1,100 to 1,680 yen for pasta and 580 yen for dessert, which is not so cheap considering the cost of living in Okinawa, but they can make you feel like you are not missing out.
Point 3: MOLT BUONO is also recommended for dessert!

The desserts at Molto Buono are also outstanding.
The tarts, sorbets, and puddings made by our resident patissier are beautiful to look at, and once you try one, you will become addicted to the taste.
Although only available for dinner, guests whose birthday falls on that day can receive a “birthday plate” dessert.
