This villa is a limited edition of three villas, opening in July 2019, located in the northwest of Kouri Island, about a two-hour drive from Naha Airport. Located on a hill, the villa is comfortable itself, with a private pool overlooking the emerald green sea. You can enjoy a perfect private vacation!
Point 1: Storks [KOUNOSU] What is the overview of Mukaka Villa Kouri Island?
KOUNOSU [KOUNOSU] Mukaka Villa KOUNOSU is located in the northwest of Kouri Island. It is more secluded than its affiliate Mukaka Villa, and the famous Heart Rock is a 5-minute drive away.
After crossing the Kouri Bridge, you will pass through the jungle all the way, making some people wonder if there is a villa in such a place. Some people seem to feel uneasy about the villa.
The road and sugar cane fields are just big enough for one car to pass through. There is nothing but a telegraph pole.
Suddenly, the villa appears in an open space on a hill.
The villa is located on a hill, and you can see the emerald green sea in the distance.
This villa, with a total of three rooms, opened in July 2019, with check-in using a password sent to you. It is 50 square meters in size, more than enough to accommodate two people.
The interior is decorated in calm white and gray tones, and the walls are painted with storks and other creatures and plants with a touch of ink painting. The painter is Ichiro Kikuta, who was born in Fukushima but moved to Kunigami-gun, Okinawa in 2006.
The room is somewhat too simple, but the artist has created a soft and gorgeous atmosphere in the room.
Point 2: Storks [KOUNOSU] What are the facilities and amenities at Mukaka Villa Kouri Island?
KOUNOSU [KOUNOSU] Mukaka Villa KOUNOSU is a single villa for vacation rental.
Inside one villa, there is a bedroom, bathroom, living room/kitchen, daybed, and a lovely 2 x 2 meter private pool on the terrace.
The kitchen has a rice cooker, ice maker and wine cellar in addition to a refrigerator, and wine is served.
In addition, there is a dessert service in the fridge!
Amenities are now pretty standard, with a smart speaker near the daybed, a Barmuda electric kettle, key coffee, and Twining tea.
No meals are provided, so you will have to get them from affiliated cafes, but breakfast at Fifi Parlor, a café with a great view located 20 minutes away by car, seems to have a good reputation for breakfast with local vegetables and fruits at a great view point. (1,450 yen per person, take-out only in case of rain)
Point 3: Storks [KOUNOSU] Mukaka Villa KOUNOSU is a well-designed water feature!
KOUNOSU [KOUNOSU] Mukaka Villa KOUNOSU has a 2m x 2m private pool, but it is paved with light green tiles and has a deep step only in the middle, so that you can look at the ocean while you are in the pool.
The pool’s simple, flat shape is also notable for its well-designed pool calan!
Beside it is a functional gazebo where you can hang your towels as well!
The bathroom also has the same callan as the pool, and the bathtub is all white.
Amenities such as shampoo, conditioner, etc. are made to be stored in a recess in the wall.
Perhaps it is a policy of not placing unnecessary items.
It is also nice to have a shower head that is larger in diameter than usual and a large rain shower installed overhead.
