About 30 minutes by car from Naha Airport. This stylish restaurant is located near Isa on Route 58 in Ginowan, commonly known as Ginowan Hills Street. The restaurant has a unique atmosphere, nestled in a corner of a building that used to be a bar area. You can taste curry and desserts that look like works of art!
Point 1: What kind of place is this? The unique location of “Wing Moon”!
Okinawa has more unique and stylish restaurants than Tokyo!
This is my recent impression.
Eimu Tsuki wo Eimu” is one such restaurant.
After passing Isa on Route 58 in Ginowan and entering the area known as “Ginowan Hills Street,” there are many new and stylish restaurants lining the street, and “Tsuki wo Eimu” is one of them.
The chic, seemingly out-of-place restaurant is located in a corner of what would have once been a bustling drinking area. Fans who have heard the rumors come out of nowhere, and since reservations are not possible, it is not uncommon for customers to wait in line!
The interior is monotone gray and white, with low-temperature lighting. The interior is gray and white, with low color temperature lighting, giving it a hard, museum-like feel.
There are ceramic objects displayed here and there in the store, and the plates are also the work of an artist from Yomitan Village.
The restaurant may seem free-spirited, but infection control measures are in place, and it is still limited to “no more than three people per group. It is also nice that the installer is sounding the alarm against the recent trend of wanting to pretend that coronas did not happen, saying, “It is too early to get caught off guard!
Point 2: What kind of food menu does “Wing Moon” have?
So what kind of menu does “Wing Moon” have?
The most popular is the “3 Kinds of Aigake Curry” (1,300 yen tax included).
The curry changes each day, but the dish includes different types of curry such as pork keema vindaloo, shrimp and coconut milk, and eggplant and radish.
Eggplant and radish.
This is convenient and great when you want a variety of curries!
After tasting the spicy one, the sweet one, the slightly bitter one, and each one with different characteristics, you can try mixing them as you are told and discover a different taste.
After the meal, we recommend the “Tsuki wo Eimu Blend” (600 yen), a medium to deep roast from Brazil and Indonesia! With a herbal aroma and a subtly bitter aftertaste, it is unique and one-of-a-kind.
Well, not only the curry, but also the coffee itself has a strong habit! The owner’s personality is on full display.
Point 3: The desserts in “Wing the Moon” are also wonderful!
At “Wing Moon” we also do desserts.
Take this parfait, for example. Ice cream, coffee jelly, and whipped topping are topped with semi-dried “Manana Mikan” oranges from Ehime, Japan. YONAGUNI ISLAND RUM is added as an accent. Sprinkled with nuts!
But the alcohol has been skipped, so even children can enjoy it!
It is a very strong and mature menu, but those who like it will be addicted to it.
Other items on the menu include chocolate terrine and chiffon cake! Chocolate terrine is usually served with whipped cream, but in the summer version, cocoa powder, cacao nibs, and pink pepper are sprinkled on top!
It’s just a strong habit, isn’t it?
