This treehouse-type hotel is located deep in the mountains of Nago, about a two-hour drive from Naha Airport. Even though it is a treehouse, the interior is no different from a luxurious hotel. You can enjoy the feeling of glamping in the great outdoors. Recommended for those who like nature but are not fond of insects.

Point 1: “Treeful Treehouse” is expensive but worth staying!

The Treeful Treehouse is also a favorite of celebrity Takayuki Yamada. Located deep in the mountains of Nago on the main island of Okinawa, it is an exciting place to visit even before you get there.

After about two hours of driving on Route 58 from Naha Airport and entering the jungle, we finally arrived at the treehouse, which is divided into two sections: the “treehouse” with a spiral staircase and the “Aero-house” with a living room and bedroom.

Once inside, it was like the club floor of a first-class hotel! The concept of a treehouse rattles away.

It is not just something for children to climb and play in, but rather a treehouse, but a high-grade hotel room in the trees.

It is a completely new hotel concept that is a combination of glamping and a treehouse.

Not only is it a new concept, but it is also environmentally friendly, with carbon negative (more carbon dioxide is absorbed than emitted), composting toilets, solar panels, water heated by Eco-Cute, and ultraviolet sterilized well water.

In your hotel room, you can relax in the great outdoors, listening to music, swaying in a hammock, and enjoying Yanbaru’s gourmet cuisine. We recommend that you forget about the busyness of your daily life in the city and just relax.

You can also enjoy optional tours.

You will find yourself smiling innocently.

Isn’t this an experience you cannot have on a mere sightseeing trip?

Okinawa is saturated with hotels being built one after another every year, but this hotel is likely to open a new chapter in the Okinawan hotel industry.

Incidentally, the price is 150,000 yen per night including breakfast for up to six people, although it may vary slightly depending on the time of year. It is expensive, but it is worth it.

Point 2: The optional tours at the Treeful Treehouse are amazing!

Treeful Treehouse is offering the “Higashi-mura Adventure Tour” in an 8-wheel buggy.

Higashi-son is a hot area on the east coast of Yanbaru, Okinawa’s main island, where trendy hotels and restaurants are beginning to open one after another.

The destination of Higashi-mura is a place full of nature, which is the private property of the hotel’s owner, so it is not accessible by other tours.

Here we trek from the top of the cape to the mouth of the ocean, where we sometimes see sea turtles. If you are lucky, you may even encounter the endangered Ryukyu mountain tortoise!

You must be more excited than in the treehouse already and your boyish heart must be in full swing.

You can also swim in the waterfalls, have lunch, cut through the water, and enjoy the great outdoors to the fullest!

However, there is a fee for this tour, which is 17,600 yen/person (11:00 – 15:00, travel time is about 80 minutes, non-guests are also acceptable).

Point 3: The dinner at the Treeful Treehouse is amazing!

The Aerohouse at Treeful Treehouse is equipped with a kitchen, so you can buy your dinner ingredients and cook and eat them by yourself. However, it takes about 30 minutes by car to the nearest convenience store.

But why not order a seafood BBQ (13,200 yen per person) at the hotel’s fire pit (restaurant) anyway?

The pleasure of grilling and eating local vegetables and meat on an open-air BBQ grill under a star-filled sky is an irreplaceable experience.

Other BBQ options include Agu pork and Motobu beef (13,200 yen per person).

The menu also includes a mixed shabu shabu shabu with rice porridge or sukiyaki (13,200 yen per person), shabu shabu shabu with rice porridge, and steamed Agu pork dumplings and vegetables (both 11,100 yen per person), so you can enjoy the best gourmet food in a great natural setting.
