About 42 minutes by car from Naha Airport. It is a bakery cafe located in Kitanakagusuku Village. It has a cute exterior and interior. The bread, including cinnamon rolls, is also well known for its deliciousness. The bread, made with homemade natural yeast and Hokkaido wheat, is well known in the community.

Point 1: What’s on the menu at Cotonowa – Jellyfish Buns?

There are many fashionable stores and the whole area has a nice atmosphere. And Kitanakagusuku Village is a village of longevity. Among them, a cute one-story house that looks like a foreigner’s house is used as a store.

What is the specialty of “Cotonowa – Jellyfish Bakery,” which is run by a bakery owner while raising five children?

All of Cotonowa’s breads made with homemade natural yeast, Hokkaido wheat, beet sugar, and Okinawan salt are so delicious that it is really hard to choose a few from many, but the most popular are the cinnamon roll, pumpkin-shaped sunflower bean butter bread, and dried fruit cream cheese.

The dried fruit cream cheese, especially the hard bread, has a rich texture!

It is very fluffy and has a gentle sweetness that makes you feel relaxed. It is a wonder that I feel energized when I take a break with a loaf of bread here, especially in the late afternoon!

Point 2: Lunch at “Cotonowa – Jellyfish Buns” is also healthy for the body!

Cotonowa – Kurage Pan also offers lunch.

For lunch, you can choose either the bread or the enzyme brown rice balls that are available in the store with your main plate. Both are available in two pieces or one piece each, which is great.

The menu includes grilled malt chicken (1,200 yen) or spiced curry with germinated enzyme brown rice (1,000 yen).

On top of being full of vegetables, soup and a drink are also included in the set. A dessert set is also available for a small additional charge.

We are happy to offer a lunch set that is not only healthy for your body, but also a great value for your money!

Also, there is a kid’s plate for 500 yen, so many people bring their children along.

Point 3: “Cotonowa – Jellyfish Buns” contributes to the community!

Cotonowa – Kurage Pan” serves as a bakery-cafe as well as a gathering place for the local community.

Occasionally, the store is reserved for lectures on child-rearing, healthful fermented mineral drinks, ukulele, and other topics. Not only that, but it also serves as an in-home care support office.

Care support offices are kind of hard to go to, but with a cute store like this, you might want to go there!

There is also a special event called “Reward Cafe,” which costs 3,000 yen and includes a massage and lunch! Of course, your child will be looked after during the massage. This is open to anyone in Kitanakagusuku Village who is struggling to raise a child, and it makes me kind of jealous!

The whole village of Kitanakagusuku, where the store is located, has a community-wide atmosphere, but this store is also doing its best to contribute to the community!
