Approximately 1 hour and 37 minutes by car from Naha Airport. This villa is located in the northwestern part of Kouri Island and is limited to 3 groups per day. All rooms are over 50 sq. m., with a private infinity pool and free all-you-can-drink happy hour while watching the sunset.
Point 1: What is the surrounding environment of “Hanalee villa Kouri”?
Hanalee” in “Hanalee villa Kouri” means “Hanalee” in the Okinawan language and refers to a remote island.
This villa is located in the northwestern part of Kouri Island in northern Okinawa.
Kouri Island is a remote island in Okinawa, but it is connected to the main island by a bridge and can be reached by car in an hour and a half from the airport, making it a surprisingly accessible place.
Kouri Island is famous for its many luxurious villas, but each villa is built on a slope and surrounded by fields, so the environment is completely private.
In addition to the villas, the area is also dotted with trendy cafes and restaurants. The famous Teenu Beach Heart Rock is about a 10-minute walk away.
From the rooms of Hanalee villa Kouri, you can see Izena Island, Iheya Island, and Cape Hendo in the northern part of the main island on a clear day, and the emerald green ocean, called Kouri blue, stretches just below.
Each villa has its own private infinity pool, so you feel like you are right on the ocean below the pool.
The villas allow you to experience the refreshing morning sea, the breezy noon, the ever-changing colors of the sunset, the jet-black night, and the star-filled starry sky as you wish.
Point 2: What are the rooms like in “Hanalee villa Kouri”?
Hanalee villa Kouri has three types of rooms: Teenu, Tokay, and Peace.
Both are completely independent villas of 50 square meters with a maximum capacity of 4 persons, but the size of the pool and the atmosphere are slightly different.
The “Peace” villa has the largest pool and is built separately from the other two villas.
The view of the emerald green ocean over the private infinity pool is truly the best part of the infinity pool! You will be mellowly drenched in the Kouri blue!
Each room is decorated in a casual resort style with a moderate POP feel. I like the feeling of being able to enjoy the resort as if you were living there, without forcing it to feel like a resort.
Also included in the rate is the “Happy Hour” system, where you can enjoy Orion beer and Watta chu-hi for free from 16:00 to 17:30.
It is nice to be able to enjoy the magic hour just at sunset, in the lounge or on the cafe terrace, while sipping your favorite drink.
Point 3: Breakfast at “Hanalee villa Kouri” has a great view!
Breakfast is included in the price at Hanalee villa Kouri.
Breakfast is not a buffet, but a standard breakfast plate, soup, and juice, and you can have it served in your room, in the lawn garden, or on the rooftop terrace of the front building with a great view, as shown in the photo.
Eating breakfast in a place with good air and a great view will make you feel like you are recharged for the day!
