About 48 minutes by car from Naha Airport. This chalk-white auberge is located on a small hill in Onna Village. The cuisine prepared by the Italian-trained chef is like art! Come here if you want to enjoy the gastronomic delights and spectacular views! Dogs and cats are welcome!
Point 1: What is the overview of “Auberge Nature on a Plate”?
Auberge Dish Top Nature” is run by a chef from Kyushu and a woman from Osaka who met in Okinawa and opened an auberge together in Okinawa.
Only four reservations per day are accepted, and guests can stay in a spacious and relaxing environment.
The cuisine prepared by the chef, who has honed his skills in Italy and Croatia and regularly travels to Europe to improve his skills, is a true work of art.
Although he is an Italian chef, his experience in traveling around the world and the inspiration he draws from the abundance of ingredients in Okinawa transcend genres to create dishes that can only be experienced here on the plate.
This auberge, built in the midst of the great nature of Onna Village, offers two pleasures: the pleasure of choosing between four different types of rooms, and the pleasure of seeing what kind of cuisine you will be served.
Point 2: What are the rooms like at “Auberge Nature on a Plate”?
Auberge Nature on a Plate” has various types of rooms.
The rooms, named Stella (stars), Nuvola (clouds), Foresta (forest), Luna (moon), Sole (sun), and Luna Esole (sun and moon villas), vary in size and room type, and each has its distinct personality.
For example, the largest villa, “Luna Esore” (87 m2), can accommodate up to 8 people and is like two connected rooms with a flexible layout that allows you to enjoy a barbecue in the courtyard and then lie down on the tatami floor when you get tired.
The kitchen is fully equipped with more than enough appliances and cooking utensils.
The use of scrap wood from old private homes, environmentally friendly EM for construction materials, and antique furniture give the rooms a nostalgic and relaxing feeling.
In addition, linens, pajamas, toothbrushes, combs, etc. are chosen from natural materials that are comfortable to use. For example, we use bamboo toothbrushes, which are popular in Okinawa, and try to avoid using plastic products as much as possible.
Please note that only “Foresta”, “Luna”, and “Sole” rooms are pet-friendly.
Point 3: I look forward to eating at “Auberge Plate of Nature”!
At Auberge Dish on Nature, expectations are naturally high, as the main attraction is the food.
The menu for dinner is decided after a discussion with the ingredients of the day, so each day a different dish will be served on the table. Neither the chef nor the guests know what the meal will be until the day of the event.
However, the dishes created from his travel experience, training, and carefully selected local ingredients, and displayed on the Yachimun are a work of art in both appearance and taste. You will find yourself coming back again and again.
Breakfast is not a buffet but a plate style, but the visuals alone are impressive: crepes, bread, salads, island smoothies, and a bowl of fruit.
Please note that dinner prices are not included in the room rate and reservations are required.
