About 50 minutes drive from Naha Airport. This hotel was established in 2017 and is located in Okinawa City (Koza). Good news for those who had no choice but to use twin single-use rooms because many resort hotels do not have single rooms! This hotel is recommended for business and solo travelers!
Point 1: What is the location of “Hotel Koza”?
There is an image that there are not many new hotels in Okinawa City, but “Hotel Koza” is a new hotel established in 2017.
The hotel is located along Route 330 in what used to be called “Koza” in Okinawa City.
Koza” is known as a deep town, with numerous unique live music venues and restaurants, including Chuo Park Avenue, which was once open for business between the Americans and Ryukyuans.
Also in the vicinity is the former headquarters of the U.S. military headquarters, which is still referred to in Katakana as “Lycoming,” and the history that Okinawa has passed through is also imprinted on the area.
While the sightseeing spots along the beach are nice when you come to Okinawa, we recommend that you visit Okinawa City at least once!
Point 2: What are the rooms like at “Hotel Koza”?
The photo shows a barrier-free room
Hotel Koza” is a relatively new hotel that opened in 2017. Is it for business use or solo travelers? There have been few new hotels in this area of Okinawa City in recent years.
Rooms at “Hotel Koza” include single, semi-double, and twin (both 12.6㎡), corner twin (19㎡), barrier-free (19㎡), and a 67㎡ annex condominium with a capacity of 5 people.
The room types are simple.
Each room is stylish with white and brown tones.
The striped bedspreads are sophisticated.
Although this is a new hotel, I like the design, which seems to have been created in the image of a good old American hotel.
Point 3: Tourist information around “Hotel Koza”!
Hotel Koza” does not have a restaurant.
But it is a 3-minute walk from the hotel to the supermarket “Sanei Nakanomachi Town” and also a 13-minute walk to “Chuo Park Avenue” with its unique restaurants.
Chuo Park Avenue is located in the area. Around here, we recommend the famous “Charlie Takouju” (tacos), which are soft shell and delicious to the skin, “Uma Tempura” (Mozuku tempura and bento boxes), and Ralph’s Burger Restaurant, where you will be happy with their hearty patties!
You must try the “torta” sandwich at Mexican Food Dos Manos on Route 330!
There are many take-out and eat-in restaurants, so you will have no trouble finding a place to eat. Be sure to enjoy Okinawan specialties and other local delicacies unique to the area!
