What is Kouri Tower?

Point 1: Enjoy the spectacular view from the observatory
Kouri Tower is located 80 meters above sea level and has the best view of Kouri Island, with indoor observation floors on the 2nd and 3rd floors and an ocean deck on the roof.
The indoor observation deck offers a panoramic view of the entire island and the emerald-green waters surrounding the island.
Such a beautiful view is not something you can experience very often. It is well worth a visit when you are in Okinawa.
Point 2: Shell Museum
Inside the tower is an unusual facility called the Shell Museum.
More than 10,000 shells collected from all over the world are on display. You may want to take a look at some of the rare shells that you may not see often.
There are accessories, tableware, and sundries suitable for gifts made from shells for sale. You can also make your accessories using shells at the hands-on workshop.
There is also a corner displaying coral and an exhibit introducing the history of Kouri Island.

Each restaurant also offers a variety of dishes using ingredients unique to Okinawa.
