Approximately 53 minutes by car from Naha Airport. This semi-open-air café serving light meals and drinks is located in Yomitan Village in the central Okinawa main island. It is popular because it is surprisingly reasonable despite being run by the Hoshino Resort. The large terrace seats overlook the ocean and offer a beautiful view of the sunset.

Point 1: What is the location of “Banta Cafe”?

Yomitan Village on the main island of Okinawa, less than an hour from Naha Airport via National Route 58 and Prefectural Route 6, is famous as a destination for genuine travelers seeking a higher grade of the resort.

The area surrounding this café is also dotted with authentic resorts such as “Hoshinoya Okinawa,” “Hotel Nikko Alivila,” and “Royal Hotel Cape Zanbamisaki.

Banta Cafe, managed by Hoshino Resort, is located on the beach near Hoshinoya Okinawa. The cafe has 200 seats and is divided into four areas: inside seating (Gorogoro Terrace), and terrace seating (seaside, rocky beach, and large roof deck).

If the weather permits, we recommend the terrace seating, which overlooks the emerald-green sea.

The terrace is covered with Ryukyu tatami mats, so you can enjoy food and drinks while feeling the breeze blowing off the ocean.

Point 2: What is the “Banta Cafe” food menu like?

Banta Cafe” offers a food menu that uses plenty of local ingredients and stylish, Okinawan-style drinks.

The food menu includes Okinawan-style “Po-Tama Onigiri” (700 yen), “Uchina Pizza Toast” with bitter gourd (900 yen), “Croque-Monsieur” and “Hot Dog” (900 yen each), and a side menu that includes “Tankan Chicken Wings,” “Fried Chicken,” Garlic Shrimp,” “Mango Shrimp,” and “Nachos Mole & Salsa” (900 yen each).

We are happy to use local ingredients in moderation and offer them at a reasonable price that is not unlike a first-class hotel affiliate!

Point 3: What kind of dessert and drink menu does “Banta Cafe” have?

The drink menu at “Banta Cafe” is also stylish and fun.

First of all, the “Bukubuku Jule Soda” (1,000 yen) is often posted on Instagram and other social media. It is a unique drink with a unique bubbly foam on top of a jellied soda filled with rounded fruit! This one seems to be an arrangement of “Bukubuku tea,” a traditional hospitality tea from the Ryukyu period.

Many of the desserts also have cute visuals. “Fluffy Frozen Fruit” (900 yen) and “Churato” (double 850 yen / single 500 yen) are desserts with cute names that make you want to eat them.

Other drinks include “Shikwasanade” (700 yen) and juices such as mango, pineapple, and ginger ale (600 yen each).

Alcoholic beverages are also on the menu, including the standard Orion Beer (700 yen), 75 Beer (900 yen), Island Mojito (800 yen), Smirnoff Ice Brisk Lemonade (700 yen), and other carefully selected items.

This café, in this location, is sure to be a superb place to spend time!
