By bus, it takes only 1 hour and 50 minutes, although one transfer is required.
In recent years, the playgrounds along the East China Sea coast of Okinawa’s main island have become saturated, and the Pacific Ocean side of the island has been attracting attention, with the “KIN Beach” opening in recent years.
Ginoza, right next door, used to be a quiet resort area, but in recent years, young people and surfers who have had enough fun on the East China Sea side are trying to develop new areas.
However, there are countless beaches on the Pacific Ocean side as well, so it is not particularly crowded.

The fact that the beach does not attract many people is one of the reasons why it is so quiet.
The only famous landmark is Kushi Kannon-do (Kushi Goddess of Mercy), which is a 3-minute drive from the beach.
The Kannon-do is a small shrine that is not even mentioned in the guidebooks, but it is protected by a huge tropical tree, and the view is heartwarming.
The atmosphere of a truly tropical Kannon is quite impressive, and is highly recommended.
For food, the local restaurant “M’s Kitchen” is recommended.
The restaurant, run by a former boxing champion and his wife, is well known for its curry and other dishes that never miss the mark.
